  1. Mouse support is finally fixed. No more stuttering or pausing of the game every time you press a mouse key. I'm now blowing through Breakout Recharged, something I was unable to do with a controller.
  2. I haven't tested all the games on this cartridge yet (received it today), but one of the games is busted. "Take the Money and Run" is unplayable . The controls don't work correctly. You cannot move up to begin exploring the maze. At first I thought it was just my cart, but upon viewing a couple YouTube demonstrations of this cartridge, I noticed that both of them also could not move their character up into the maze.
  3. I'm unable to connect my two devices too. Moto G phone and Chromebook.
  4. I am strongly considering purchasing a Retron 77 just so I can enjoy Mr Run and Jump. I saw a review that said the game is nearly impossible to finish, and just not very fun without some type of save system, and he completed it using the save state option in the Retron 77. It would be a benefit with other 2600 titles too in my opinion, like Dragon Stomper and Mindmaster.
  5. I was watching a review for Mr. Run and Jump for the Atari 2600. According to the review, the game is extremely frustrating and nearly impossible to finish without state saving. He mentioned that the Retron 77 allows you to state save with Mr. Run and Jump. I have both the game and the 2600+ on pre order, but might also consider a Retron 77 just for the option to save anytime. Might also come in handy for DragonStomper and Mindmaster, to name a few.
  6. The Intellivision team is excited to announce the public beta release of Amico HomeTM for Android®! Amico HomeTM is the Amico console gaming experience delivered on other hardware platforms that many people already own. We are starting with Android® and iOS® mobile devices, premiering now on Android® and coming later to Apple iOS®. Install the free Amico HomeTM app1 on a compatible Android® device to turn it into an Intellivision Amico gaming console. A tablet is a good choice for the console device because the larger screen is easier for all players to view together. Or, choose a device that supports a wired HDMI® connection2 to your TV for a big-screen experience with family and friends! Turn additional Android® or iOS3 devices into Amico controllers by installing the free Amico Controller app. Connect as many as eight controllers to Amico HomeTM 4. There are two game apps available now and more coming soon. Astrosmash® and Missile Command® are available today with Shark! Shark!™ and Side Swipers™ following soon and more in the months to come. As a beta release, you will find the apps in the “Be the first to try” section of Google Play® Store, or simply go to the Intellivision Amico publisher page on Google Play® Store, or search for the specific app names. We welcome any private feedback you’d like to send us through the “Write feedback” link on the store page of each app. Your bug reports and suggestions will help us improve the experience for you and for future customers when we roll out of beta into full product marketing to families around the globe. For many households that already have a family tablet, Amico HomeTM is an affordable way to enjoy family gaming entertainment. We are delighted to invite you to join the family gaming revolution today with Amico HomeTM! Amico ClubTM Along with the release of Amico HomeTM, we are launching a brand new Amico ClubTM website as a central location to manage your Amico gaming experience. Create an Amico ClubTM account to access unique content, special offers and features. If you are one of our valued Amico Console pre-order customers, you can confirm your deposit on the site to enable access to Amico HomeTM download codes for the console pack-in games as they become available on Amico HomeTM for Android® . If you are one of our valued Limited Collector’s Boxed Edition owners, you can register your boxed edition products on the site to access download codes for those games as they become available on Amico HomeTM for Android® . Your physical products will, of course, still be good for installing the games on the Amico console. Amico Console Our ability to begin manufacturing Amico consoles in volume requires securing additional investment. The release of Amico HomeTM puts us on a better footing to attract such investment or to eventually fund manufacturing from the proceeds of Amico HomeTM game sales. We remain dedicated to moving Intellivision forward, step by step, until we can deliver on the full vision of Amico, including the consoles. Thank you to all of our console pre-order and boxed edition game customers for supporting our mission to bring people together with simple, affordable, family entertainment. We have designed Amico HomeTM to support the Amico hardware controllers via a Bluetooth® connection. Releasing Amico hardware controllers to the market is a critical next step in our manufacturing strategy. Amico Future The Amico HomeTM app and games for Apple® iOS® are coming next. We will announce a release date for the public beta in the coming weeks. This is just the beginning for Amico HomeTM We will continue evaluating opportunities to move Amico HomeTM onto additional hardware gaming platforms to expand the reach of Amico family-friendly gaming. Already, Amico HomeTM for Android® allows hundreds of millions of people around the globe to turn their mobile devices into local-multiplayer gaming systems in a few easy steps. This new channel will allow us to publish Amico games we’ve already developed and to continue developing new games in the exciting space of local multiplayer gaming with our unique Amico Controller. The Amico controller’s touchscreen opens a new frontier in video game design where individual players can receive private information from the game. To help us explore this new landscape, we plan to make the Amico Game API for Unity® available to third party and independent developers. Third party and independent games that meet Amico standards for family friendly gaming will be featured in the Amico HomeTM app, and the very best will be available for the Amico console. We look forward to growing the local multiplayer space with talented developers from all around the world! Final Words As we enter the holiday season and reflect on all the good people we have in our lives, we wish to express our gratitude to all who have helped us reach this milestone with Amico HomeTM and who motivate us to keep going. For our families who supported us and endured with us through the lean times, For our Intellivision team members, past and present, who dedicated themselves to our mission, For our talented game development partners from around the world who made amazing games, For our business partners and investors who put their trust in us and show us patience, For our console and Amico HomeTM testers who gave their time and improved the products, And especially for our customers who pre-ordered consoles and purchased Boxed Edition games, showing to us and the world that there is a desire for games that bring friends and family together, For all of you, we feel deep humbling gratitude, and though it is not enough, we say from our hearts, THANK YOU. We hope that you have the opportunity over the holidays to spend time with your loved ones and to have some fun together with Amico HomeTM. Best holiday wishes from all of us at Intellivision. Sincerely, Phil Adam CEO
  7. This is very aggravating. I'm unable to get the controller app on my phone to pair with the Amico Home app on my tablet. The controller app just keeps "searching for Amico" (with the running guy in the background) even though they are both on the same network. I even tried different matching networks for both, just in case - same results. Tried running the Amico Home app on another device and all I constantly get is the message "Amico Home Keeps Stopping".😠
  8. The Amico Club app is requiring me to confirm my Amico console pre order to qualify for "additional benefits such as early access to games on Amico Home that are slated to be bundled with the Amico console". But they want my "4 to 6 digit number that was included in your order confirmation". My order confirmation has no order number anywhere on it. Has anyone successfully confirmed their pre order?
  9. Speaking of controls, is mouse support on the VCS ever going to get fixed (game(s) pausing every time you shoot with the mouse)? It's been years now since it got busted. It worked great the first year, or whatever it was, of the VCSs life. I loved using it on the original Missile Command Recharged and would love to use it on Breakout Recharged, and a couple others too. Someone here or on Discord mentioned that he uses a mouse without any issues, but when I press him on what mouse he is using I never get an answer. None of the mice I've tried (wired and wireless) work without the pausing/stuttering. I'd gladly purchase a compatible mouse if one even exists.
  10. Like Aragorn, I had also brute forced my way through those wheel puzzles. It took around 15 minutes.
  11. Are we getting any more Intellivision games? Or is Dynoblaster the only one? Shark! Shark! is already released on other platforms and Astrosmash is due later this month. But no mention of Atari VCS versions.
  12. It's a decent Bomberman game, no doubt. Looks nice and plays well. Too bad I had to purchase it and Tommy didn't send me a code for a free download, for I own the physical copy for Amico! Anyway, I spent quite a bit of time with the game today and I find it EXTREMELY difficult. I can't even complete the full tutorial, and that seems to be against only a single opponent!
  13. I hear you. Ends Reach was so good it makes most of the VCS games seem like shovelware now. I still purchase the Recharged games just to own them on the VCS, but they are all just games I play for 5 or 10 minutes here and there. Ends Reach I kept coming back until I finished it. It's the greatest exclusive on the console, no doubt.
  14. Something like this might help. I found it in a stash I picked up a few years ago, complete with it's original receipt:
  15. If this thing doesn't play homebrews and SD carts I'll be disappointed. I'm already feeling a little buyer's remorse.
  16. I ordered one, but I really wish there was some way to play 5200 carts on this thing too, even if they sell an adapter to do so.
  17. What's the model number of the mouse you are using? I've tried a half dozen mice and they are all stuttering/freezing during gameplay on Missile Command: Recharged (and other titles with mouse support, like Breakout Recharged).
  18. Is crossing the lake pictured below possible? It has a bunch of electrical conduits. I can freeze the lake to walk across but cannot jump high enough to reach the ledge. Also I'm missing two discs pictured below (one half green/one half red). Any ideas where they are located?
  19. The flower boss? You need to destroy the 4 seeds by making a bridge with your swords power. I did find the controls problematic during this section. Seems a bridge wouldn't always form, or I'd fall off while trying to form the bridge. Accurately jumping from a destroyed seed to one of those warp globes was an issue too.
  20. You'll need the Fire Axe to get past those red doors. The developer mentioned that the VCS owners of End's Reach is in a unique situation with the game because they are playing blindly, without any walkthrough (Unlike Steam users, for example, who will probably have a walkthrough of some kind by the time they get to play it). I was thinking of starting an End's Reach help topic for those of us having trouble. I'm about 10 hours in, recently beat the 2nd boss (use the Ice Shield, it protects you while damaging the boss) and have been aimlessly walking around, lost. I have no idea where to go or what to do.
  21. Considering the description states "Over 30 hours of gameplay" does anyone know if the Atari 2600 cartridge version will have saves or passwords?
  22. Thanks for letting me know. I've been stuck in that room all day!😡
  23. Has anyone here made it to the ice stage pictured below? If you recognize the location (Forbidden Gate Temple?), how did you open the door up ahead? I went through the door opposite this one and picked up a key (I think) and pressed a button right next to it (last picture). There is no way out of this area so I'm wondering if saving and quitting after getting the key and pressing the button has glitched the game. Also, I received the heat resistant boots earlier and can't cross those "hard lava platforms" leading to other areas. I can walk on hard lava no problem, but not the hard lava platforms. Is there another upgrade or is this also a possible glitch?
  24. End's Reach is available in the VCS store. Was able to successfully purchase, but having issues actually starting the download. It goes to download and then quickly ends.
