  1. Wow. Great tool. Much better than my Perl script to merge xex files... I'll definitely use this one...
  2. Danke. I'll try 15KHz dual pokey. I like the 15KHz bass, but I never can seem to get high toned drums like snare and hi-hat that I like in that mode. I like your intermezzo. I always loved New Order for some reason...
  3. This is what I would image my dance club sounding like, lined with Atari Computers.... cybernoid.zip
  4. Hey, I use AT_Telnet. Let us know when a new version is available!
  5. Thanks Heaven! I'll have to work on some code for a small checker board demo... Just to see if I can do it. Anyway, here is an update to my crystalhammer intro music conversion. It was done with the new v1.28 RMT, which is GREAT! Does anyone like the 1.79MHz filter? crystalhammerb.zip
  6. Now that is cool. Classic Retro Games ... now that is a cool site... gonna do some downloading...
  7. Excellent work! Your knowledge of video especially of the YUV/YIQ color space is really good. Do you work in the video field?
  8. 4 screen are enough, with 6-8 screens you would eat too much RAM anyway if each screen has almost 8k. Look at this http://atari.fandal.cz/detail.php?files_id=154 demo. I checked it (recorder video from emu and looked at the individual fames in Virtual Dub) and IMHO it uses just 4 screens and is smooth enough. Awesome. Ok. So now I have an answer to one of my demo scene questions. I have another one... How do you do the moving checker board with perspective? (Like in the car driving part of TOP #3 megademo or in Ball Blaster...) OK, I know it is off topic, but I figure it is OK to hijack your own thread.
  9. Thanks. I thought about it last night and I figured it was something like that... I'll have to try some experiments... Do you know how Thanks M! I like this experiment. The filtered bass sounds good. I'll have to try and few things with the filtered bass. Do you let RMT convert the arpeggios to notes when converting? Here is a new experiment with lower lows and higher highs. crystal_hammer12.zip I wish that RMT would do a fourier transform on the samples and glean the major frequency or the top 3 major frequencies and put these notes into the note table for the instruments. I'll have to try looking at the spectrum in goldwave and see if doing this manually makes for good conversions...
  10. I think your zip file does not have the Hobby Tronic 92 Side A. It has side B. The demo by Friday digitized version is excellent. I like the top # megademo. What is the mechanics, or coding trick, behind the unlimited bobs?
  11. Hey, thanks for those Marius... I thought I had heard it on the A8 before... It is a very popular tune! ... well ok, it was back in the day...
  12. Yeah, I have several remixes in mp3 format and I decided to you tube Crystal Hammer this week to see what I could find (I found lots), then I wanted to see what our A8 could do. I am happy with the result, but I am sure that Emkay can do better! He always manages to surprise me with the music. I strive to figure out half what he is doing... I did discover that I do not like how RMT converts the envelope, I think it makes it less dynamic. I adjusted the envelopes manually.
  13. Thanks for the input. I'll try to make it less busy. Yeah, From Crystal Hammer on the Amiga... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EiXBh21DNs
  14. Another slightly different version with more bass... crystal_hammer9.zip
  15. I've been working on translating the Music from Crystal Hammer... have a listen... crystal_hammer4.zip
  16. Here is some Tetris RMT music if you want for your game... tetris_mania.zip tetris.zip
  17. Ok, so I hacked this version with some different "graphics"... I couldn't help myself. Not perfect, but... This is a very good port so far. Great job atx4us have a look... nontxtris1c.zip
  18. Looks good! Even the non-color text version of Tetris is fun! I've been playing while listening to this: Tetris_McVaffeQuasi_Ultimix_OC_ReMix.zip
  19. Yeah, those remixes are great. Thanks for that. I see they are from AmigaRemix.Com. I forgot about that site. Man, my free time is doomed! Yes, Geek, we should. But, I never took the word "Geek" to have any sort of negative connotation.
  20. This is a great piece of music. Good Work!!! Golden Axe is one of my all time favs... from the game play, the nostalgia (memories of me at the arcade), and from the music. I agree completely with sack-c0s. The main lead is a bit drowned out. It sounds like I am listening to the back-beat of the Golden Axe music. But, I may be biased. I have collected Golden Axe Remixes over the years...and have been known to sit back with a good beer and listen to game music remixes... Here are some of my favorite remixes: http://www.ocremix.org/game/golden-axe-gen/ Golden_Axe_GoldenAxe2002_OC_ReMix.zip Golden_Axe_DeathAdder_Trance_OC_ReMix.zip
  21. Reply from Homer... Seriously, thanks for the demo... Looks good. Thanks even more for the sources. I will be sure to use some of that...
  22. Take a look at this thread... http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=142771
  23. Good find Emkay. Much better than the Radiohead cover, although I am amazed by the sounds and harmonics realized by these scanners.... I am glad to find that he ditched the comodore 64 from his previous oldschool remix ( ) in favor of the 800XL!!!
