    First work week completed! The hours are a little different than I'm used to, but so far, so good. Loving the job, and hope to learn more stuff as time goes on.

      Working in the A/P and Payroll positions for the job, plus odds and ends for receiving. And no, the vibratory factory didn't work out. Seems I wasn't quite up for the job. But all in all back on track after about a month of a forced hiatus.

    Things are going pretty well now. Seems the boss at my new job wants me to learn all aspects of the financials. Of course I said yes. :)

    About 40 hours into Kingdoms of Amalur: The Reckoning (360) and I have to say, I'm having tons of fun with it. LOVE this game.

      Picked it up as a discount game about a year ago and it's a fun game for sure. I don't know how much attention it got.

      Some on YouTube, reviews seemed generally positive, but of course referencing a "Fable-type" game often. I find that, IMO, it's better than Fable.

      GREAT game and pretty consistent on every game system. Played a lot of Pitfall II: Lost Caverns on my trusty ColecoVision. In fact I think I played it more than the original. I remember being excited when Pitfall II made it to the arcades too.

      Ouch. :( Sorry to hear that, xucaen. This job I'm interviewing for tomorrow isn't really in my "field" (accounting/bookkeeping), as it's a custodian job. But, I can't turn my nose up at an opportunity. I've done custodian work in the past and yes, it's hard work, but it's satisfying as well.

    Thinking of adding some arcade classics to my Xbox 360 via LIVE. Pacman, Ms. Pacman, and Asteroids are on my radar.

    Fully engrossed in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning for the Xbox 360 and it's expansion/DLC packs. Level 10 mage at the moment...some of the quests are longer than I anticipated..side quests, that is.

    Working at my old job for awhile (temporarily) and still trying to find a new job. So far no success, but this time of year isn't good to catch an Employer's eye.

      Well, after a week's worth of barely any training at my other job, I got terminated at the end of the week. I wasn't "getting it", according to them. So, my job now (old job before the other "old" job) hired me back temporarily to help out with a few things. January's not too far away..so I'm hoping my luck will improve. Merry Christmas to everyone!

    So, my old boss (from the job that I didn't get canned at) called and asked for some "help" with things that needs to get done before the end of the year. I was more than happy to volunteer! This non-work thing is starting to get on my nerves....

      Based on how people are acting at my place, work is starting to get on people's nerves as well. It seems people either have too much or too little to do, very few have that perfect balance.
