Will RAM upgrade instructions be posted when the time comes? Not step by step, just chip numbers/positions/links changed etc. I have SMD repair tools... er....but I also realize there are some that would go at it with a screwdriver and blowtorch... so maybe a PM? Could assist with testing too.

There is one screw under the label and there is also plastic pins each side at the cart slot end. Pry them apart gently.

I'm about to test this. I got my multicart and most NTSC retail games are fine but demos just don't work on my Synertek 6502. It's a crap CPU, but my Rockwell - Mexico-12 one died. If you order a CPU from Best, you're gonna get a Synertek. I've ordered the PCB's and the new W65C02S with supporting Logic Chips. I'll start a new thread for the testing report. Hoping to have it soldered up and tested end of next week.

Very Cool. Nice clean 7800 too. Mine looks like it was stored under a shed for a decade. Did you use the Aluminium Duct tape for the stripe? I was thinking of that and rubbing it on an embossed Atari Logo to create a raised relief on the Tape.

Sure. It's was a Goodwill Special. Had a dead ROM and power button. Works fine now.

Oh what joy. My 7800 has the Synertek Sally in it. Here's my one in all its irritating glory. Are there any tests I can do on this before I get my hands on a Concerto?

I'd love a kit form. I used to do SMD repair on cellphone and hard drive control boards for Solectron Scotland and I still dabble. But I guess many do not and he'd waste time trying to support people over email etc. I've seen the horrors people do to circuit boards trying to solder, I get a repair job or two a month. I'll wait for new stock... as long as they're coming, I can wait. Patience.

Wow! Something drew me back to check on the 7800 cart after 5 years away and I find it's released! Looking forward to the next batch, I hope I can get one. Love my Harmony Encore and this would complete my collection!

I grabbed a POKEY just in case they get super rare, not sure what I'm going to use it for, but I'm definitely up for a 7800 cart. I have a 2600 Harmony and love it!

Got My encore SD last week. THANK YOU. This thing is great. My light sixer can now play every game released. If the 7800 one will be like this, sign me up for one!
