All Gone:Windows XP Professional Installation Disk
vintagegamer89 replied to vintagegamer89's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Bump, I'm willing to drop the price. PM me with offers. - Sean -
I have a broken PS2 sitting inside of a shoebox in my room. Please Note: Someone has taken this apart before. It is missing some of the screws but looks to be complete. I got all of the parts I had for it together, but I gave up on trying to put the CD drive back together. It is also missing the top shell. I'm not sure what exactly is wrong with it aside from the CD drive needing to be put back together. If someone bought it, it would obviously be sold " as-is". It might just have a DRE. Since the CD drive isnt put together I cant find out. I wont be looking to get much money for it. Ill try to get a picture tonight. If anyones interested shoot me a PM. -Sean

I'm not entirely sure if someone has came up with this idea before, but maybe there could be a yearly award for something along the lines of an " AtariAge Forums Member of the Year " ? The award would be giving to a member who has shown helpfulness to other members, a great trading, buying, and selling status, decent post count, and other things that contribute to the Forums... The deciding of the winner could be done in like an election format. People could submit nominations for a member they beleive should receive the award and it could be narrowed down to 5 or 6. Then the winner could be chosen in a poll format where members would vote for who they think should get the award. I'm not sure on what the winner would receive, AtariAge store credit, gift certificates to Game Stop, or something video game related?? Does anyone think this is a good idea or actually a possibility? - Sean

What about the Intellivision?
vintagegamer89 replied to DominiRican05's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Blasphomy!!! Just kidding. I myself feel the Intellivision is one of the greatest classic systems ever made. The reason you probably think its over-rated and such is becuase you probably need to get some more fun games. Might I reccomend: B17 Bomber Tropical Trouble Beauty and the Beast Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Safecracker Truckin Microsurgeon Mission X PGA Golf Shark! Shark! Snafu Sub Hunt Yes, the INTV controllers are hard to use the first time you use them, but after a couple of times of playing you'll get used to them. Here's a good site for overlays, instructions, and game and system information. www.intellivisionlives.com -
I aquired some Windows XP Professional Installation disks almost a year ago. These are not actual disks that you would buy in a box from a store, but will install the same software. These are not burned or illegally made disks. These are disks that come with new Dell computers to reinstall Windows XP Pro if the computer ever crashed. ( see pictures ) These disks will install the same program as what you would pay $100 for at a computer store. I can personally say that I have installed Windows XP Professional on a Compaq, HP, and IBM computer with these disks. Also, these installation disks do not come with the original COA's, but I have included some product key numbers to install this software with. As of this moment I have 2 available for sale. I am selling these at the price of $25 each shipped. Please Note: I have installed this software on a Compaq, HP, and IBM computers. This software will obviously install on Dell computers as well. Refunds for this software will only be given in certain cases. I am aware that people might buy one of these disks, install it on their computer, and PM me saying it wouldnt install on their computer and that they want a refund. Please be honest. PM me with questions or to purchase. Thanks!! - Sean

IceCold: Ill probably be looking for a computer for basically internet and AIM in a month or so. I wouldnt want anything special, probably something in the range of 400-800 mhz, 128-256mb ram, ethernet card, other basics... If I planned on buying one in the future could you scrounge up enough parts to build me one? If you could, could you also qoute me a price? Thanks - Sean -------------------------------------- Sorry for stealing your topic - Sean

For a final time, any takers for Congo Bongo or what?
vintagegamer89 replied to JohnnyBlaze's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
My Trade List, well thats the thing, my trade list is basically a bunch of common and scarce commons. I'll PM you with the list, but trust me you wont find anything you'll like. -
Local Game Museum = Good Idea?
vintagegamer89 replied to Radio F Software's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I wish someone had something like that around here. I think its a good idea, but I dont know as if you'd be getting much business from the younger crowd... Most kids now couldnt care less about history or museums ( No joke - some kid in my U.S. History class thought only 233 men were drafted in WWII ) Even if they had an oppurtunity to look at video game relics they would still have to learn something and that would just be terrible! As for people stealing stuff from your displays and breaking in and stuff, it depends on the location where this would be... Is it going to be in the bottom of your house or something? Good luck on this, its a great idea!! -

vintagegamer89 replied to JohnnyBlaze's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Congo Bongo for INTV right? I'm extremely interested, but I dont think I have anything youd want to trade it for, and I'm not in any situation right now to spend $90. - Sean -
Not really any of my business, but if I remember correctly the 7800 has a common screw used in many electronics. Whoever gets one without screws could most likely salvage some screws from an older radio or something.

place to TRADE in nonworking NES for working NES
vintagegamer89 replied to treetsux's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Are you sure you correctly put in the connector? I'm not sure of any place where you could trade in a non-working for a working one... What exactly are the problems or symptoms that your having with your NES? -
Welcome to the Intellivision family. You'll find that playing Intellivision is much more fun ( sorry guys, i'll be awaiting heat from this comment ) and better than playing Atari. Aside from the crappy disk controllers, its a pretty nice platform and has many fun games. Some games I'd reccomend are: Hover Force B17 Bomber Tropical Trouble AD&D Armor Battle Beauty and the Beast Bomb Squad Dracula Loco-Motion Mission - X Safecracker Motocross Sea Battle Snafu Sub Hunt An Intellivoice is really nice to have. You'll find that most of the better games ( see list above ) are harder to get ahold of and are more expensive ( duh. ) Again Congrats. Welcome to the family. - Sean

I'm bidding on a game gear tv tuner and some games and I went to go check My Ebay today, and in the section where it tells what I'm bidding on the Auction for the game gear stuff is gone and this is above it: Some of your information is not available at this time. Please try again later. I thought maybe it was just a glitch so I searched for the auction and it didnt show up when I searched for it. Possibly the seller pulled the auction, but wouldnt it still show up in My Ebay? And WTF is that message all about?? - Sean

New Classic Gamer Site - WWW.J2GAMES.COM

Really nice site. Easy to navigate around and your products were for the most part decently priced. Your INTV's are pretty cheap. I'll be buying in the future -
