damn, im so damn tired...i think i got ur question wrong, i almost know i did... you mean how to make an atari 2600 plug into those 3 holes in the front of the tv? i cant try it even cause i dont have a tv with 3, just 2...eh oh well, i got some finget excercise in typeing this.
-
i dont have the stuff to try it, but just get a male cable screw in thingie(i dont know the name, hehe)cut the plug off the atari coord that normally goes to the rf switch, then strip the ends of the wires, and connect them to the male cable screw in thingie, try them in both places. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU DO THISAND MESS UP/BLOW UP YOUR ATARI, TELEVISION, LITTLE SISTER/LOAF OF BREAD OR ANYTHING ELSE LIKE THAT. heh, just had to put that incase you did this and it didnt work. actually, im gonna go try it, i got an assload of stuff in my room i could use... i'll post again in a few

radio shack has RF switches and such...but for the power adapter, what i do is goto yard sales, pick up some v6-96 adapters, and then cut off the end plug in piece, but some cheap 99cent head phones up at wallgreens or something, cut the plug off of that, strip the ends of the adapter wires, and the end of the plugs wires, and attach them, then use electrical tape n stuff to make sure they stay in place. also, the plugs on the end of some old speakers i had i found worked well also. i have made 2 adapters so far, tested both of them and they work fine.

i got like 7 power supplys, there not for atari but i could easilly modify them if they need it. oh yea, i made a few atari battery powered power supply, they work rather well, and the batteries last a decent ammount of time. if ur interested my aim is blyind4, icq is 66154327 and email is [email protected]

where can i get the atari assembly book at? -
oh i see... oh yea, i found out where i can get an eprom burner and eraser, but do you know any place where i can get a 2532 eprom, and a 74ls04 hex inverter? i looked at jameco.com and i couldnt find either of those. thanks for your help.
-
um... i was under the impression that all carts for atleast the atari 2600 use EPROMS? oh yea, and on a site it says that eprom was eraseable programable read only memory.. is that right or is the E stand for electronically?
-
ok, cool. thanks for the info on that. i know i'll eventually buy one, im hopeing to get a good deal on one off of ebay, or a yard sale or something... i saw one that was an eprom burner/eraser in one...it looked pretty cool.
-
i tried that link, its broken =(
-
yea, i though about that. but i like to tinker with stuff like this, and if everything works out right...i will be at next years CGE, at a small booth selling carts with my game on them... i hope, heh.

i was born in 1986, so i grew up to nintendo, which isnt really a bad console...it's just no where near as good as the atari 2600 i now own. also, i got an idea... with some assembly knowledge and an extra atari joystick and some other stuff, might it be possible to make an atari joystick that would go into the USB port on pc's and be incorporated for use the the common 2600 emulators? i dunno if it would actually work, just a thought tho.
