oh yea.. i forgot to ask what type of eprom burner i would need? maybe give me a direct link to one, or the specifics of the kind i would need.
-
ok, now i know why nothingshowed up when i typed in eprom burner, heh. i was pretty sure this would cost me a lot... but i have a master plan, lol. i have a lot of friends with snakes, so i breed lab mice by the 100's and sell them to my friends and local pet stores. lol, sounds messed up but i think it will really work.

damn, there needs to be some tucson collectors out there... am I the only one?

i have been searching for an eprom burner also, and wow that one looks very nice for the price. i am not an expert on this stuff, but i do plan to buy an eprom burner and eraser in the near future.. and i THINK the atari 2600 eproms are 32 pin. so in that aspect of it, it seems to be what you would need. i dont know for sure, maybe you should give randy an email over at hoozer.

Need advice on collecting Atari 2600 system and games
blyind replied to AtariDude's topic in Atari 2600
i am starting a collection too. what i did was fork out 60$ for a 4 switch woodgrain system, with 2 normal joystick controlers, a set of paddle controlers, and a game pad thing with an overlay for some space game i dont understand, heh. all of it is in mint condition, and it came with 12 games too. so basically i suggest you buy a nice looking console with regular joystick controlers atleast, and probably paddle controlers too. then get games from flea markets, thrift stores, yard sales and stuff... you can get plain carts for really cheap, like .50 cents each -
an EPROM burner is AKA as an EPROM programmer right?

heh... is it possible to make them sign a contract b4 they buy the game, saying they will never sell the game for more then they payed for it..atleast not over the internet... i dunno, just an idea. i plan to learn more assembly and eventually make an atari game or 2... i dont know what it cost to get a booth at next years cge though...anyone know? i have a decent idea of what it would cost to make the games them selves, from looking at the hoozer web page and stuff though.
