3 things: 1: how hard is to poke the memory? 2: how do I use the sound command? 3: what is the shortest amount of code possible for a sprite? that is all. I am new to this

(i'm new so please inform me if i posted in the wrong spot) commodore famously cut corners during the developments of the vic 20 and c64. I just want your guy's opinions on the BASIC programming language packaged with both these computers and the Atari line how well it was implemented if it was easy to use how powerful was it if you went insane trying to program with it (that last one is a joke) also, your worst/best memory of it

hi, new to the post. don't feel bad, when I was playing Mrs. Pac man on Stella (a 2600 emulator) I was close to 100,000 and died. that's the charm of these games, they're fun but impossible to master. I commend your dedication.

what if Atari had dealt entirely in sports games? would it have made a difference? Atari only fell flat because they tried to take on Pac man and ET. I don't have an original 2600 but I know a guy who does. from what I played, the sports games are okay. what if they had kept it that way?
