  1. sorry it took so long. i am testing out an infinite loop for the c64. 10 print "are you a pirate"? 20 input a$ 30 if a$= "y" then goto 10 the only way to get out is to reset and lose the software or on apple 2, it starts but draws a picture of either a penis or middle finger, depending on the choice of yes or no
  2. just missing levels? does the lack of the BFG and Spider mastermind mean anything to you?
  3. was the MSX capable of 3D? I mean, not literal but did it at least go the altered beast route?
  4. i guess i need to stop using emulators. i'm using Kega fusion
  5. you can send me a text file of the code right?
  6. two things: 1: what the hell does OCR mean? and 2: the PDF's i'm referring to are from archive, org
  7. if it lacks a power switch, how would it turn on. stupid question but still
  8. When I do a program for the c64 (I use Simons basic) I try to use the least amount of memory possible. why could Atari make it so that the processors have a reserved Cache of Memory (say 512k of ram) for extra memory, while using its base load for graphics and sound. in short, one processor for graphics, one for sound and when the Data is used up, switch to its reserve and go from there. the Atari 2600 did it. obviously bank switching died before 1990
  9. I would like to see someone port doom (if possible) to both the arcadia 2001 and Atari 2600 and post the results on YouTube.
  10. how is Vanilla doom hard to go back to? granted its old but at least, compared to a certain other game (cough ** daikatana cough) it's supremely playable, has a really good mod community and of course Brutal Doom. by the way, Doom for the SNES can die in a fire. no extra episodes without raising the difficulty? in a game where a lack of circle strafing and infighting being gone is a death sentence, that warrents a fuck you. still an impressive achievement, especially given how taxing it was to the Super FX chip. makes me wonder why the 32X version looks worse in comparison. and no spider mastermind? no Baron of hell? Hell even the f**king BFG is missing from the 32X port. for a system boasting to be "six times more powerful than the 3DO" this is a damn shame. and one more thing, and this I will never understand, why in the name of god, does the 32X port have a DOS prompt if you cheat?
  11. speaking of pulses, how does pac man even move without a heart, lungs or even a skeleton? one could say the pellets are drugs and he's giving death the finger by metabolizing the crack pellets.
  12. i'm laughing so hard right now. Toilettunes and ZZips posts are real funny
  13. zerosquare, you do NOT have to participate. you chose too, you do not have to do so if you do not want. so respectfully, shut the fuck up
  14. the system was touted as 64 bit but the games were on par with other consoles. my theory: the two Processors on the system were only capable of limited math Processing. 2D games were easy. 3D games used more complex Formulas and thus required more processing power, thus the 3D capabilities were weaker. BattleMorph could've been better had it used fewer Details. it would've looked like shit but would've played better. had Alien vs Predator been given a graphical update using the full power of both processors, it could've been less of a slow paced game and more of a fast paced shooter. the problem lies with the processors, not just atari. too weak to be used efficiently and atari was too stupid to se the flaw. thoughts?
  15. very funny. rybags mention encryption. how would i go about doing that on the apple II?
  16. i disagree. play gorf for the atari 5200. if you need further proof, play Daikatana or Pac man for the atari 2600 need further proof? play catfight for ps1 case closed
  17. I view the 32X as a decent system that had a lot of pitfalls. but still, a cheap way to play 32 bit games, even if it did come with a fuck ton of wires. at least 32X doom had the music. then again, Jag Doom had the BFG. tough choice
  18. one thing's for sure. the adventures of batman and robin can suck it. should've made it like the Genesis version but with the added FMV's. also, for some reason, Road avenger doesn't work on Kega fusion
  19. how do i paste code to the atari 800 emulator. and for that matter, is there a way for me to copy code from archive.org pdf's for the atari 800?
  20. if its Mythology, why is it in my bedroom?
  21. so its wrong to enjoy a game that allows minimal control over the game itself? well, that includes call of duty, battlefield and brothers in arms, sonic and every other 2d game out there. so, in short, a game that allows complete control is fun but a game that allows little control is crap. I question the wide gap in your knowledge. by your definition, Desert bus is a "game".
  22. maybe the asshole that thought it up received royalties for each sold. making money off of our misery
  23. thank you. tor, i'm sorry. zzip, sorry. maybe it was a mistake for me to post.
