  1. Picture looks better in real life.....Crap camera phone ! ....
  2. THANKS EVERYBODY👌 Just fitted my A/V mod to my Intellivision. I spent 3 hours doing it ,and to my surprise it works!!! Very happy with the results, picture is good and sound is a lot better. Fixed it up to my 9 year old Plasma, rather than my new LED TV so far ...The mod cost me £15 and worth evey penny!... I wouldn't have done it myself if it wasn't for the help and advice I've had on this forum. Thanks a lot guys, and here's a few pics of my mod.... Not perfect but I'am very, very happy😀
  3. Thx for all you advice ,you been a great help......
  4. Can anybody tell me where they would solder the Ground In wire on my pal version .......Just not sure which is the best place.. Just a final thank you to all of you who have helped me and posted on this topic  I will let you know how i can on
  5. I take it i can solder the ground (GND in ) wire to any any metal framing part of the motherboard ......Just as long as its near my other connections so the wire reaches it?...Is that correct ? .......Is so then i'am ready to go.. I,am practicing my soldering right now !
  6. Just not sure where to solder my GND IN wire, my pal version not the same and has a red wire very close going somewhere😏. Lol. ..The other 3 wires seem to be simple and match... Sorry if I sound stupid, but as you can see I'am complete novice!!!
  7. It looks very similar, but frightened i'am going to solder one wire in the wrong place and bust my console for good! The other circuit board joined onto the motherboard has thrown me a little.....
  8. Thanks for nothing Freewheel lol....Trust me to have a pal unit ...with no clear instructions how to fit my A/V mod to it ...I might be a novice but i won't give that easy !!
  9. Some pics.. Not sure where the 4 wires go now?.Might try and get help from the guy in Turkey where I bought the A/V kit from ..
  10. I,am trying to fit a A/V mod kit from turkey and the instructions don,t match my intellivision.......the motherboard has a extra circuit board wired to it.....Strange that the Pal versions had no sheilds fitted!....Going to try and find out how to wire my uk pal version with this mod now.....no easy task by the looks of it.....
  11. Don't the Pal versions have a shielding cover over the motherboard then ?....I thought all Intellivisions have them on
  12. Hi Guys, Opened my Intellivision up today and had a look inside...To my surprise it has no Shielding on the Motherboard!! ! ... which is great because it looks like its a pain to get off.. The problem is ,it has a small Circuit Board wired to the Motherboard..... and everything doesn't look the same as it is in the PDF file instructions. So I'am not 100% sure where i should do the wiring now ! My Intellivision says made in Hong Kong 1979 on the console..... Can anybody tell me if they made different intellivision 1 models back then with different insides Or have i got a fake console ?...Everything looks well made ,but just not the same as on the pics and vids on YouTube. Can anybody shed any light on this matter ? Many thanks
  13. Thanks for your advice Silicone, much appreciated ........and everybody else on this forum who has helped me so far
