Ross, please don't take this the wrong way but please stop concentrating on facts that just establish what we already know - i.e. kieren is a douche. This is beyond doubt and it doesn't take a wall of text or three, to just repeat what people know.
We know he doesn't check anything, contradicts himself and uses veiled threats. That is not in question.
By swamping the new facts e.g. the sock puppet accounts, the police threats etc. It's just detracting and may serve to allow pertinent new information to be lost. This, in turn, will just switch people off from reading - which is precisely what he wants so he can get back to what he's always been doing.

Yep, this was a post from last year about why he was banned from here...
It was because of his standing up, sorry because of his correcting then over FPGA, sorry it was because sauron was trying it on with his girlfriend.
Truly anyone who thinks he's a friend is just potential roadkill on his path to destruction.

In the offal to waffle production that is the 'statement'. Can I correct the rant against Ross re Clinton cards.
Yep, he made a mistake in saying Clinton cards, which I corrected as the name is "signature gifts" - as detailed in the Wikipedia talk page for the Atari lynx. He then acknowledged his mistake.
What was interesting when that link was noticed, Kieren actually had a rant in his private group about being stalked and he'd never told anyone he was working there etc. Unfortunately it was public information on his personal FB page timeline as "started at signature gifts". Oddly that was deleted just after the link was revealed.
Btw I see that the Atarifan Twitter account is STILL making targeted attacks, including posting a photograph (ironically taken from Wikipedia) of Margate station, mock up t-shirts going down the "attention whore" route, friends with benefits stuff. Truly a broken individual.
And that's the problem with trying to project norms into people showing such behaviours. Much like the gun bans in the UK, the only people who were affected were those that would not have transgressed. Criminals were already breaking the law so any new laws didn't apply. Applying "he didn't really mean to do it, he must have some reason why" logic to people whose only strategy is "I am right" doesn't work. It's has the opposite effect in that it enables their actions.

But everyone loves him again as you can tell on his FB page, not the FB personal page but the one for discussion of books (he are an author you know).
The person who is so desperate for fame by assmosis they went searching for playexpo 2018 pictures.
And
Me 2 movement.

Original video was audio from one of his reviews, overlaid on one of his electron killer e-books. The book being used to show all the complaints he had bemoaned in his review. You can see that in the dailymotion link.
this thread has taken a life of its own unfortunately and it’s gotten to the stage it needs an index or it’s own faq 😀

Please take this with a massive dose of salt, A little birdy tells me that JS3 is in a bit of a panic at the moment, looking towards the imminent departure of its founder.
This has included taking copyrighted source videos and hosting them locally as FB files. "Leadership" are also assuming that the current roster of, non-banned due to being spies, people will stay. Given that a lot of people were added to the group during the KGRAMR stewardship and don't even realise they are members, I'd say this might be misguided.
As even KGRAMR has been banned from there - he is a well known personality on the scene, without actually having one, then I would expect a rapid exodus.

Given that lairds lair yt account has been possibly killed off, that should have the effect of killing off the comments and pages of linked accounts.
I'm guessing the forza77 one has gone, why yes it has.

50 minutes ago, SamDyer said:Hi all – first time posting here.
My name is Sam Dyer and I run the publishing house Bitmap Books.
I’ve been asked multiple times on Twitter and Facebook as to whether Kieren Hawken is involved within our new book – Atari 2600/7800: a visual compendium. These questions have come out of the blue and I (maybe naively) wasn’t expecting so much interest in his involvement. We engaged Kieren back in 2019 to come on-board as part of the team to help create the book and he has ghostwritten some parts, along with other writers. It’s important to say that I’ve had no issue with his work and the working relationship has been fine.
Our books are very much a team effort so the overall writing is a combination of many contributors, including the original developers. When we cannot reach the original developer for a game, that entry is ghostwritten – something we’ve done since our NES book. When listing contributors on our website, we don’t tend to list ghostwriters and traditionally these have been credited within the book, not publicly.
I had no idea of the interest that his involvement would incur. The book was a HUGE undertaking and around 9 months of work and officially licensed from Atari. It has has been verified and fact-checked as best we can by other Atari enthusiasts and proofreaders. This is something we do on all books so I’m confident that it’s as accurate as it can be.
If you guys wish to boycott the book based on the above then I can’t stop that, but I wanted to publicly state the facts regarding Kieren’s involvement and squash the speculation.
If anyone has any questions about the book, please email [email protected] and I’ll do my best to answer.
Thanks, Sam

The really really short and stupid analogy around Kieran is pretty much like the #MeToo campaign. Suddenly lots and lots of different people in the retro community as a whole who had no connection to each other are discovering they aren't the only ones to have been shafted over or defamed by him the last 15 years or more.
And yes, posting the Wotsit video himself was a classic example of the Streisand effect.
To paraphrase king Kong:
'twas humour and cursing that killed the beast666

Wasn't he the Birmingham journalist who did his master's degree aged 9, in Birmingham Alabama, and then his bachelor's degree in Birmingham UK 8 years later or so.
I believe I was given some caps of that fb profile

Here is an example of the revisionist tactics employed.
He is insistent that mastercast was banned for trolling members on his js3 group.
So look at the evidence...
Moderator has rant, question asked about physical release and light gun support.
Praise for cart.
Then moderator didn't like the review.
Mastercast banned
Revisionist version of events given
All of Andrew Rosas posts are non trolling as there is a massive dump of them to read so who has lied here?

His video output is beginning to look like a domino collection of 2: Blanks.
1. He'll be setting them to private so people e.g. me, won't be able to find matches.
2. After a suitable period of time/editing they will reappear

1 hour ago, Lost Dragon said:Actually in the article it clearly attributes the figure to ex-marketing manager Darryl Still. Sales figures such as this CANNOT be used in Retro Gamer unless they can be verified. This is a very strict requirement of the magazine. Many of the comments on AtariAge are nothing but trolling based on a dislike some of the members have their for the author of this article. I believe the figure, which was discussed at length by staff and readers, was broken down to US sales (500,000), French sales (1 million), UK sales (1 million) and rest of world (450,000). The "pushed" interview you speak of was on the website Retro Video Gamer and no such pushing took place, Darryl merely agreed with an estimate by the author. When this was followed up on in the Retro Gamer article more research was done into obtaining the figure and the facts and using a mix of press coverage (which exists to prove the French, UK and US sales already) and reports of ex-Atari staff the just under 3 million figure was reached. Retro Gamer would not have printed this figure or allowed it to be quoted unless it had been verified at source, and that is why Retro Gamer are considered a verified source by Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.42.1.220 (talk) 12:58, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
In fact looking at the AtariAge link Lost Dragon/Rogue Trooper/Ross Silifant/Last Shogun and all the other names he uses is a know trouble maker who was banned from the Retro Gamer forum because of his antics and personal crusades to troll the Editor and staff. So that says it all! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.42.1.220 (talk) 13:04, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
The anonymous user ISP was traced back to his then place of work, Cilinton Cards..
If you follow the Wikipedia text further it says Signature gifts.
"I believe that if you reverse IP 212.42.1.220 you end up at signature gifts, which is where Kieren Hawken worked at the time of that statement (and the follow up trying to discredit Ross Silifant). Given the source of the figure, and who potentially is anonymously trying to verify it, then I would say a WP:CoI — Preceding unsigned comment added by StraightDown (talk • contribs) 23:36, 15 March 2018 (UTC)
- @StraightDown: I think i found another source where there's an approximation as to how many were sold, it's not a internal paperwork but at least it's something...
http://ftp.pigwa.net/stuff/mirror/www.atari-explorer.com/lynx.html User:KGRAMR (talk) 15:5, 23 March 2018 (UTC)"
Mind you the "big boy did it and ran away defence" came into play and a "Jason Johnson" claimed to have done it.
That account is no longer on Facebook so I guess it was a fake one. Historically I'm guessing he was having a conversation with himself there.

Wasn't he the doctor who used to wear an old deer-stalker?
Anyhoo...
It's amazing when you enter the imagination land of mr hawken, you keep finding areas of dubious parentage.
So he's the writer for fact hunt, and main person of sky news computer coverage according to IMDb
He's written articles for atariage according to freelance recruitment
He's had a lot of sycophantic reviews on Amazon e.g. dpaint, retrolass which he then repeats in other interviews to create the usual false narrative.
Has a "to whom it may concern" diagnosis from a specialist in dealing with sexual problems in offenders.
Has created a new YouTube channel, using the same name as that of his closed due to copyright strikes one.
As to the Paul Andrews stuff... Are the accounts likely to be:
A. Man who has reportable business and very low presence on social media or
B. Man at home all day who thinks he is social media guru (see previous short term employment history), and who has been caught out numerous times editing public facts to agree to his version of reality.
Will wait for what tomorrow may bring.
