Looking back it finally hit me what the main issue is (YMMV).
Bias.
When an article in a magazine, yt clip or even on TV/radio appears you always have to believe the journalist or presenter is giving you an unbiased report. Whenever you get anything that has been fingered by Mr hawken you cannot believe that any more. Professional integrity is key to being seen as a credible 'journalist' but as keiren has pursued his scorched earth policies, moving from one forum to another after banning, using fake accounts to promote his own work, deleting historical works to maintain his 'image' then you can no longer assume non-bias. His integrity is shot.
An example here was when my eldest son received a retro book as a Christmas present. Inside was an article on the 20th anniversary of the Atari jaguar, and top ten games written by he who should not be named. In the article there was not one mention of the work done by reboot or atariage but veneration of titles such as Gorf and the incomplete BIWN. I.e. people he admired. He then went into discussing the homebrew future and mentioned Vladr and even quoted Jeffrey (of wave 1 game fame). No pretense of impartiality, just petty partisanship - Jeff being the moderator on the FB group Keiren had set up.
He did a YT review of the C64 mini which was the best thing on the planet... Without mentioning in the video he had a financial interest with the publisher and had boasted about choosing the games to include.
When comments are made to correct his errors e.g. when called out on the psx version of doom being incorrect in a comparison video (as it had been run under an incomplete emulator) he explained it was down to his special footage that he had not actually recorded. He then used the same incorrect footage in another video 2 weeks later. As we've since all become aware the special footage store appears to be obscure YT posters.
When a "serious expert and journalist" shows such bias, errors and distain for their target (and shrinking) audience again and again - you have to ask why anybody believes what they produce.

Have you been looking at your own games again?
Or are you actually just trying to appear relevant to jaguar development instead of the punchline to a joke? (Asking for a friend)

They all look very professional and I'm aware that certain other developers have a habit of "borrowing" assets without accreditation.
Tldr there is no slight intended on you.

I read that as "did the Meth"" the first time.
Nice artistic style, take it these are all new graphics and not stock?

20 minutes ago, PlaysWithWolves said:I weep for all the gameplay videos lost in the great blizzard of '19.
They are all sleeping wiv the angles...

Those pictures look so blurry and washed out I thought they were stills from the “game”.
So who had 17 hours in the cough before cold sweepstake?

Where's the leather clad guy ?

I'm not going nitpicking but if it's a fixed turret, isn't the parallax wrong? The furthest things away would move quickest and explosions should move faster relative to turret movement
Looks pretty enough though.

Just remember to look at reviews of them first...

Given that he can't remember the name of the company, details on a vague spiritual crystal castles sequel" would not really be of much jaguar interest.
Especially since he says that occurred "AFTER ATARI SHUT DOWN", as it would limit sales somewhat.

Or, that he confused it with fight for life.
Yes it was going to be on jaguar, as the contracts said, but didn't appear to have any work done or assets supplied.

You 2 have spotted some anomalies in the 2 review videos I will give you that.
Its funny how neither review said anything about collision issues dont you think?
Thats not a coincidence thats because the game doesn't have collision issues. Enough people here on AA have actually bought the game from me, people who have actually PLAYED it and not combing a video for the sake of trolling.
When you say that you are basing your new game on the holiday version because it doesn't have collision issues, and you are then shown what was meant then you appear to not acknowledge there is an issue you now need to correct. It is not trolling, it is correcting erroneous statements.
Also I hadn't realized you and Madman were experienced people who release 1 or 2 games per year. My appologies mr expert. I was under the mistaken impression that you 2 hadn't released jack.
Sign me up for those I wanna play!
If you reread the quote then you will see it is talking about reboot. They are highly experienced coders who only release 1 or 2 original games a year. They have the skills and yet still take aeons. You are currently putting out how many? The number of projects you've hyped and never went anywhere too (the western game, the boxing, saucer wars, fpga jaguar, tengen games etc. ) should be included. All told I believe you've announced about 20 titles inside 3 years.
Lets get one thing out in the open and clear, you can quote it to perserve it or whatever lame thing you said earlier. I dont need anyone in your circles "help" making Shark Byte the homebrew Killer App that it WILL be. I'm going to do it with what I have already learned. The game will be bug free BEFORE release and it will kick everything elses ass, mark my words. That's not me being cocky or delusional, that is confidence.
Also Madman whipe the drool off of your chin and clean the damn Cheetos crumbs out of your keyboard. At least have the decency to troll folks in an organized clean manner.
I wasn't intending to reply further but thought I would address the specific charges here. How is pointing out errors trolling? You made an assertion, it was proven wrong by your own admission and yet you still carry on insisting. Time to admit and move on.
FYI your own video shows errors, look at the third iteration where two cookies hit the ground and yet you lose 3 lives (50 second mark).

I can answer that if you want

1. those are all taken from the second opinion games review, who received a nice boxed copy
2. I did wonder in the cookie game if the fire destroyed them, you can see the scores going up sometimes. However the scores did not increase when the double cookie disappeared and they did not contact the flame.
3. The clique of the "no jeffs allowed" club are going back in time and faking the vid caps to just victimize him.
4. He was logged in here as I posted the first set and then logged out.
Somehow Jeff has got it into his head that experienced people, who normally release 1 or 2 original games a year, and who released their tools to allow an easy method of programming for anyone, are chastising him for rushing out non-properly-playtested money grabs. Anyone who points out faults is cojoined to the group. To paraphrase my mother: Jeffs games are all fur coat and no knickers or he has delusions of adequacy.
