  1. No collision detection errors in Holiday Snacks. Anyone who says otherwise is an insane person.

Saturn you can chime in now on this.

thought I'd better quote that for posterity.

Jeff says there is NO COLLUSION! sorry NO COLLISION ISSUES! so those pictures must be alternative facts.

  2. and not forgetting the cookie game with random'o'miss mode - miss cookies and they don't register.

or the 'easter egg' where even the reviewer goes ehm...why?

  3. that is totally unfair - using facts to prove him wrong. If you want to see real issues look at the 5min plus mark of the second review games video, there are some definite WTF moments.

    e.g.

    the let's miss while small

the lets just go straight through

    the meh...maybe I will, maybe I wont

  4. Jimmy Hart might take issue with Track 3: https://youtu.be/ZNL8CRRunhU?t=7

Careful, you'll end up on the list.

As to the bugs in ff64holidayedition...

Apart from the copyright infringements (e.g. using the downfall guy graphic), bad collision detection and speed variation errors no...it's his most polished work.

  5. As a final question from me on Jeff's hungry shark evolution copy, since when did jaguar real hardware display a fraps value?

For crimes against baked potato, humanity, or even huge manatee's, you have been sentenced to death by public frying, 4 lunches from today.

  6. The evidence before you, is incontrovertible, there's no need for the jury to decide. In all my years of judging I have never seen before, someone more deserving of the full penalty of law.

  7. 1. It is a graphic demo only showing a good portion of the graphics that will be used in the final product

Quick reply as....well you really aren't answering much.

Why would you post something like this elsewhere then?

  8. He truly is the great panjandrum - hes got a little list.....

To pose a few questions then:

    1. You say its a graphic demo, yet say its a gameplay demo in other locations. Which is it?

    2. You say you dont have a box design, yet again you announce in different locations that whos prepared for this [email protected] bad boy using the same artwork to advertise. Which is it?

    3. The rumoured indiegogo campaign is in your signature block, the amount of backers should give you an indication of the actual interest I.e. none. Since it has now morphed into a buy these carts for 60 dollars campaign do you think it is ethical to sell other peoples work to profit?

    4. You state that the reason for the characters being clothed is due to a cruise accident, as all the characters in the video are male are you trying to corner the pink dollar market now you have exhausted the goodwill of the jaguar market?

    5. Does your game design really come down to transparency and blood effect?

    6. You state it will not just be a reskin of ff64 holiday edition, yet also state it will be based on it I.e. moving a sprite to eat some things while avoiding others. Which is it?

    7. Will you answer any of the earlier questions e.g. did you post a video of jag boxing that showed graphics that could not be part of the game?

  9. You are aware that a single = is an assignments and not a comparison? As such your statement makes even less sense.

The word animation also does not mean what you think it does - have you actually seen your video? Or the one from the week before? What animation is the shark showing?

  10. So the long preview video is....no actual gameplay that will be in the game but an excuse for you to showcase some graphics and sound, presumably so you can then point your indigo go campaign to raise 3000 dollars for a blue cartridge. Btw are you allowed to offer those perks?

I thought jag boxing (you know, where you showed a fake video running under the modelling sw to make it appear as if the actual jaguar graphics would be high Rez) was this years must have. Must, being the mould found on grapes of course.

And yet, once again, youve got a box design ready.

Slight point of order - you dont tend to swim with all your clothes on, you may want to change the graphics unless thats climate change mode.

  11. Well I love receiving emails like this:

    Jeffery Bonez:

Hiya wanker. Could you pleaae contact me on Facebook messenger? I would really love to chat it up with you one on one.

That is.... Unless the idea of that scares you?

Just 2 guys talking one on one live.

I have a lot to ask you and get off my chest.

    Balls in your court wanker

The subtle blend of "wanker" and "please" is what makes it.

  12. I'll be fair and answer your question. A few less than reliable carts prepared by one of my colleagues did go out. But rest assured I have discontinued the game and am working hard on a revision at this very moment.

Anyone who is not satisfied with the game whatever ROM version they recieve is entitled to a full refund or an updated copy. Whichever they choose.

A little piece of info FYI while you are trying to make me out to be a sham, out of the 200+ copies of FF64 (my other game y'all shit all over) I sold guess how many people asked for a refund?

    Take a wild guess

    0

Gosh, I must be privileged as the great God of coding (in that people look at his code and say "God Almighty...") has deemed me worthy of a reply.

From your statement you intend shipping out both sets of carts to people, and then wait for them to complain - relying on people not bothering to do so. Like the scam detailed in lock stock and 2 smoking barrels, where they send out refund cheques marked "refund for the purchase of one hole piercing dildo (large)" or some such, knowing that people wouldn't present them for cashing.

As to frogz64 you can say whatever you want about the sales - a lot of people have piles, doesn't mean I want them. Does that include the Xmas reissue, the cart and disc release?

Oops, I realise I've included more than one question in a post - which one are you going to answer as you only address the least important one in any reply? Damn, now that's three.

I'm impressed in one way by your hucksterism, managing to find a rich vein of game encumbered people with disposable income. More people than went for retropia on the PC that had, what was it, 3 sales in its 18 month lifetime. Damn, four.

Jeff, you are not a commercial studio, so why are you trying to act like you are - setting deadlines for release? Concerning yourself with packaging more than the actual game? You have no deadlines to meet unless you've invested money in the pre production that wasn't disposable and are trying to make it back as soon as you can. You know, as you messaged to me in the frogz aftermath.

Truth is, you are a tiny fish in a very small pond that tries to make themselves look bigger. In this case you've, yet again, shown you've come up short in the actual delivery department.

My money would be on question three...

  13. The word "too" would imply that's how you've actually written it.

Hope that timer (or is it pseudo-timer i.e. software) remains synched with all the other triggers or you'll be getting all sorts of weird problems.

Also, unless designed correctly, you end up with thousands of If statements to check for each event you have to use which will impact performance massively.

  14. Wasn't icemanpx3000 one of the play testers, why are you only saying it's too easy now? Rapid fire? I would hope that you can't just hold the reload button in as that would remove the need to have it in the first place.

Needs to be a reload period based on how long since last used I feel or gun heat leading to misfire chance and minigame for clearing it. Just thoughts.

  15. Thanks for the clarification.

The design of the game appears to be all timed event triggered - concerning that the zombies movements are also driven by the time instead of Z as that would probably be one of the causes of your depth sort and aiming issues - take too long processing your timer and raptor could have updated the position while you were checking. It's a sort of race condition but of the snail variety.

How are you triggering these events though - hope you are not looping around all objects for each iteration as that would be incredibly inefficient and could be one of the other causes of non targeting seen.
