Good grief...what system are all these for? Bunch of largely unknown titles.
-
Sigh....WIKIPEDIA!!!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_2800
-
Actually I think this is everything now. There's one more surprise to come (hopefully) but it's not something 'new'. Tempest I'm guessing that means you've found an additional WIP for an existing game?

This says it may not be a master system cart... http://little-scale.blogspot.com/2008/06/so-whats-inside-some-other-sega-carts.html
-
It would had been funnier if that was Adam "Pac-Man" Jones.
-
Let's say I haven't kept up on the forums and noticed the fervor over the reproduction of an unreleased game. Sheesh, bunch of stuff flying under the radar. Did you ever mention what you had on the back burner that you had been sitting on since last year's Midwest Gaming Classic?
-
Well in this case, it was what Ms. Pac-Man was before she was born.
-
Because it's not the real one. The owner of that ONE machine is too paranoid to do anything with it. And it was so close to being released, too I thought there were three of them...not one.

http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/178055-breaking-news-probe-2000-power-lords-atari-2600/page__view__getnewpost Tempest? What about this prototype being found and reproduced?
-
Can we talk about the game itself - the fact that it's been found after being lost for 29 years???

BREAKING NEWS: Probe 2000 - Power Lords - Atari 2600
Crimefighter replied to CPUWIZ's topic in Atari 2600
Pink Panther has not been reproduced...the prototype was put on eBay a few times but the auction was never completed. Is there a video of the gameplay of Power Lords on Youtube? I think that would be something the community would like to see even if they never get the chance to actually play the game. -
How the heck did I miss this news that Crazy Otto has finally been found in time for Ms. Pac-Man's 30th anniversary?
-
Tempest? Were you aware of these six prototypes by Videosoft? http://www.digitpress.com/library/videosoft/videosoft.htm

If you've seen this video as played by the DK3 world champion, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJRXiCeM3Ns at stage 159 the game repeats the first board over and over and over again does not advance to the other two boards. What is unknown is this...since many arcade games do weird stuff at stage 256...or as some say...STAGE ZERO...what happens on a DK3 machine if stage 256 is reached? Does the game have a true killscreen or go back to normal and cycle thru the three boards again? Apparently no one has played the game that far and the DK3 Twin Galaxies high score record holder does not know the answer. Anyone wish to tackle this with MAME to find out the answer? Be sure to video tape the results!

Ever find "things" inside your carts?
Crimefighter replied to VectorGamer's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Where is there an opening big enough on these carts for them to get in??? -
Video Pinball in this dedicated system is nothing like the 2600 version.
-
Right, good point I think the ideal solution would be to make a CV adapter that would let you use Atari paddle controller, ... not sure if it can be done though... What about Coleco's Roller Controller? Roll left, roll right...and however fast you need.

Stack Up is a rare title...you might wanna leave that one intact. -

Roanoke, VA - Goodwill off US Alt 220/460 has a bunch of not all that common Colecovision titles for sale - Frenzy, Sub-Roc, Victory etc. and a steering wheel for it. I don't have a Coleco...so good luck heading out there to get them. Had some N64 titles as well. -
Was this what you were talking about in March Tempest?
-
Does it look the same in a 2600 than a 7800?

7 20th Century Fox Proto's and a few Demo Only Carts
Crimefighter replied to Atari_Don's topic in Prototypes
Tempest? I don't think there's a page on any of these proto titles - anything new here or different from the final versions here? -
Here's a difference that you can see - plug in a game that uses joysticks then plug in the paddle controller and try to move around - the fire buttons control the left and right movement - the knob does nothing. Plug in the driving controller - the fire button fires but turning the knob you can only move up and down. There ya go.

Apparently the Foundry version only adds the ONE SCREEN and the shooting fireballs from SMB...DK 2 adds four screens.
