  1. Not surprising at all. The Dreamcast community is rather passionate.
  2. Yeah, this is the most backward project I have ever seen. Don't know why they are wasting their time pushing it?
  3. From what I have been seeing the Wii U was a huge seller thanks to a price drop and a Splatoon/Smash bundle. Nice to see new players.
  4. Why not just start a company that makes new games for old systems? Clone systems are so common that we don't need another one.
  5. Another thing, Nintendo stuff is just more common. You can walk into a Wal-Mart and still find tons of Mario and Zelda t-shirts and gifts. But I have only ever seen one Atari hoodie in a Spencers Gifts (and yes, I bought it).
  6. Wii U and Splatoon were both big Black Friday sellers. There is a push to make this game a E sport. And the fan base is passionate. If Nintendo decided to do paid DLC I honestly would not mind. I have played over 500 hours so I have gotten my monies worth. If paid DLC means keeping the servers up I'm OK with it. BTW my Miiverse ID is https://miiverse.nintendo.net/users/fubar-of-paFriend me and let's splat the world together!
  7. Thank you! I have a tattoo to match. I just wait until Steam does a sale and I can get a game and all DLC for $20. Sadly this isn't on Steam, but sooner or later sales will drop and EA will offer some kind of deal.
  8. Because compared to the original and Battlefront 2, it's a huge leap forward in graphics, but not game play. 40 players max? Planetside 2 has been out for years and allows hundreds of players on the same map. Plus, EA has likely held a lot back to be released later as paid DLC.
  9. I have got to pick this up. Many fond memories of the Genesis.
  10. I have many fond memories of Atari. Considering the limitations of the time, it did amazing stuff.
  11. Well, with all the bad PR, I would say slim, but not impossible. At $150.00 people would probably be willing to take the risk.
  12. The worst thing is, it will probably end up in the hands of a bandwagon collector who does not know any better.
  13. I could see a CIB repro going for maybe $150.00, But over $2,000? This is BS. I REALLY REALLY want Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Halloween CIB repros and the most I would shell out is maybe $75.00.
  14. Hands down, my pick for best game of 2015 and my favorite online shooter since Left 4 Dead. I LOVE this game! Go out and buy it! Don't own a Wii U? Go out and buy a Wii U!
  15. The box is the most tempting thing. Would look great on the shelf next to my big box VHS copies of Evil Dead and Zombi.
  16. A Flashback 5200 or 7800 would be awesome! Especially if the 5200 still had that storage compartment in it.
  17. OK, forgive my ignorance, but are Atari repro carts a rare and valuable thing? I know you can get NES repro carts for about $50.00 new. Are Atari reproductions harder to make?
  18. $1,475.00 for a repro? This game must be awesome!
  19. Well when you give free Atari systems out you become a popular guy.
  20. They first came in about a week ago along with a Genesis and portable Genesis plug and play systems. Kinda wish I had picked up those also. Keeping my fingers crossed they still have them the next time I go. Having a lot of fun with it, although I have to look up how to play a few of the games. Taught my mom how to play Centipede, she loves/hates it. Still wish it had a SD card slot so I could play some Halloween and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. But well worth the $40.00.
  21. The only interesting thing about the Retro VGS was the ability to develop new games for old systems and have a new platform to release them on. Why not focus on that?
  22. It's up to AU $810.00!? WTF? Someone has money to burn.
