Do you realize it is only a game cart? This person may have many good reasons to sell the game, including ignorance to the ever changing rules posted here. ....we are not the inquisition here. We are a club for fun. If someone decides to flip the game on ebay or such, a corresponding response is that person may not be allowed to rejoin the club in the future. I think it was stated by Collectorvision in a previous post. A member was allowed to sell the game to other members privately. Pricing agreed by the parties is of their concern not ours. In my opinion. Thanks!

This was not a simple ask, there was threat of banning members if they decide to sell the game on ebay......imho, it feels a bit extreme, and brings complications to what it should be all but fun stuff. Again, this was just a conversation exploring some angles, not a complaint.....before people jump at me!!

You may be right. Although they may need to provide a lifetime buyback too. I am not a legal expert. It just appears too much added complications on a simple situation.

That is as long as the membership is current. Once it expires, you may not be bound to the rules. Unless there is a lifetime buyback promise. Again, I want to emphasize, I do NOT plan to do either.

This is not a software license, this is a videogame cartridge. Tell me you cannot resell used videogames, dvds, books, etc. I am not legal expert, you may be right. I am just making an observation of the normal practices.

Which is a legal and acceptable way of selling goods. It is also well within buyer’s rights. On the other hand, It may be overreaching by seller threatening to ban members and place controls to the merchandise after is not longer their property.And, I do not plan to sell my copy, but others may want to do it. Overall, I am in favor of less complications. We are adults not kids anymore....if someone posted the game....what’s the big deal? If you are happy with what you paid for after the misunderstandings and delays this year...then fine. There will be another year. chill, relax, Let it be!

Good, however an email is not a mandatory buy back rule. On the other hand, Threatening note about banning members over selling the game sounds quite serious. But whatever, man.......I just hope the game is that great!

As far as I remember, There was no clause about making members do or not do anything with their game. Maybe you could offer a “buyback program”, “ exchange” or a “return for full refund” if you would not want anyone selling it on ebay. I do not think is fair to ban people for legally selling their property if they so choose to do so. And, I do not plan to sell it, before people jump at me!

Any news on the missing games for cv and intv? Also, btw in the intellivision vault, SH shrines of P is still incorrect. That is 1 incorrect out of 8 roms in the vault. Thanks

It is almost November and here we are still asking for what was promised.

It is going to be the end of the year...end of the “membership”

We are still patiently awaiting for the extras, additions to the vault and secret game from both memberships (intv and cv) .........while other new games are coming out for sale constantly ......the secret game remains “secret” .....

Any word on the specials and exclusive games for members? Intv and colecovision. Thanks
