  1. Wish there was deals like that near me lol. Love the game binders.
  2. I have not played suidoken 2, but I know that the game is generally considered to be very good and the price is not just for rarity.
  3. Chrono Trigger all the way. A loose cart runs over 100 (120-140 if you're not willing to surf eBay for a decent deal), but it's worth every penny. If you like RPGs, it's a must play and being my favorite game of all time, I ponied up for it a while ago. I'm always surprised by the number of people who haven't even heard of it. My thoughts are if you're really going to play it and you can afford it, buying your favorite games is totally okay even if they are a bit expensive.
  4. Does the Sega CD work? If so I may be interested. Also, what model is it (1 or 2)? Not the genesis, the CD that is
  5. If you want to consider splitting it up, I might be interested in a few.
  6. I love them both, but since the Genesis and Sega CD there is 5 bad sonic games for every 1 even okay one. Mario on the other hand churns out all time greats like its nothing. He started with an industry changer- Donkey Kong- and hasn't stopped. SMB, SMB 3, Super Mario world, SM64, Galaxy 1 and 2, Mario Kart, and even all of the Mario sports games, which are heavily underrated.
  7. Are any of the games from your old thread still available? Or are they all sold out? I was interested in Bumper Bash.
  8. Haha sorry, I don't know what made me think that. I did a bit of research and it turns out I was a bit misinformed when it comes to the Intellivision RGB mod. It's apparently is fantastic, but is only available in very limited quantities and is currently sold out 100%. I can't seem to find any information on whether the Intellivision II installation ruins the 2600 adapter.
  9. Hello. I can't believe I never noticed this thread. I'm looking to get into Neo Geo games and collection, so I've been on the hunt for a MVS machine for a while now. A few possible candidates ended in disappointment so I'm hoping I can find one soon. If you've got one available near NJ, please check out my wanted post on that section of Atariage and PM me! Thanks and have a great weekend!
  10. I'm looking for a Neo Geo arcade cabinet. A bunch of possible candidates I looked at ended in disappointment, so I'm hoping someone will have one available soon! If you've got one, PM me!

You might have better luck hunting down a Dynamo cabinet and installing the Neo-Geo board into that. I will likely do that with my HS-5 one of these days.

  11. Hi. I already have a thread in the wanted section asking the question in the title above, but I figured that many arcade lovers and cabinet owners never look there but hang around here. I am looking for a non-conversion Neo Geo cabinet- 1, 2, or 4 slots is fine. Please PM me if you have one available or know of one around NJ. Thanks all and have a good weekend!
  12. Thanks guys! If I get a 4 port I will defiantly do the power mod too.
  13. Well there is a reason to own a 2600 other than collecting for us pixel perfectionists. It has an RGB mod while: -the 5200 does not -the colecovision RGB mod bypasses the internal circuitry for the Expension Module -And the intev cannot use original controllers As for 5200 games, I do not own a 5200 (really want one), but I have played mr. Do's castle before and enjoyed it.
  14. Hi. I have a question about the Atari 5200 games library. Are there any game that utilize more than 2 controller at once, using 3 or 4 of the ports on an original 4 port system? If so does anyone have a list of them. Lastly, do any homebrew games utilize this feature? Thanks
  15. Hi. I have a question related to compatabilty and modification of an Atari 5200. I know it is recommended that you purchase a 2 port system since the 4 port ones run power and rf through a proprietary prone-to-breaking switch box that is hard to replace. However, if I purchase a system I will be getting it s video modded. Does anyone know if the modification bypasses this switchbox (I know there is a power jack mod too), which would negate any issues and actually make the 4 port a superior option? Thanks
  16. Thinking about getting a PSP. I've read different opinions on PSP 2000 vs PSP 3000. Any of you guys have preference (especially on what the screen is like)?

Thanks guys! I unfortunately have to buy online as the only game store near me is GameStop who overcharge and don't stock PSPs anyway. I don't want a PSP GO because I love physical copies and have no modification expertise.

In that case, choose carefully and make sure it's shipped in a padded box.

I LOVE my PSP 3000! So much retro gaming goodness packed into one little system. Makes me want to go play it right now.
