This one is a lot of fun...very original gameplay, i could play this for hours on a rainy day.

I didnt have much time to play this week, but after thinking about it....I feel this is the only game released for the 2600 and NES in which the 2600 version is actually graphically and in game play..superior to the NES. Its a masterpiece, both in form and function.

I'll give the features it would need to equal and beat the competition...

 

 

1. Backward compatibility....this is what nintendo is planning for Revolution. Connect to the internet.....see #2.....and download any 2600-7800 classic game.

 

2. Online play...including online classic 2600/5200/7800 online play...imagine playing combat online....wow...(i didnt say it would be easy)

 

3. Wireless controllers...or classic controller ports for classic games.

 

4. contracts with major third party software developers like EA

 

5. a major multimedia ad camaign...ya gotta spend if ya wanna sell.

 

 

This type of system should dominate the classic gaming demographic and at least hold its own against the big boys.

I was watching Batman...the movie the other day and started to imagine how it might make a cool 2600 game. That got me thinking....what would be my little list of Atari games I would have liked to have seen.

I am used to playing this one on GBA, but this week I tried it on the computer(ROM). This game is a good example why I love the 2600. Simple as hell, but huge fun factor. I could play this for hours...its addictive. Sadly, however, my score is not improving so i'll put this one to bed.

I never had a 5200 or 7800, so I have no nostalgic feeling for them. My video game console history is:

Its not that I dont think The others are any good, its just that they are not part of my world.
