you're welcome. This reminds me that I'll have to fix the remaining keyboard shortcuts one day... 🙂

James
Last version was 3.51, only released as a patch for v3.5. Its only a Y2K patch. The english version is at Atari-forum and it was boring as hell to translate it!😀

Well you can download and test both versions from Motelsoft's website: http://www.motelsoft.de/
And see for yourself: they are exactly the same colour-wise.
Oh by the way: now I see the first pic is from Arcan, not WOI. Arcan is not the german version of WOI. It's just not the same game.

Weird that the German version Arcan has different colors. Wonder why we got the ugly greens doors in WOI?

This is because your character Ratakesh has an active lighting spell in the first picture. 🙂

I finally got around to creating a Github repository for it, if anyone is interested : https://github.com/hlabrand/jzip-atariST
What's in there is the final release (JZIP 2.1) + some code to support accents, and termcap-related stuff added in.
The compiled binary is here : http://ifarchive.org/if-archive/infocom/interpreters/zip/jzipst-2.1.zip
This means you can now play French, German, Spanish, etc. interactive fiction in the z3, z5 or z8 format on your ST!
There could be some improvements to the code, particularly in terms of speed (see issues), if anyone wants to take a look at it. (I don't have time right now to look at it, but pull requests are welcome.)
I hope someone enjoys it!By the way, the readme file from the compiled binary archive states the previous ST compiled version was 2.01 beta3, but there definitely was a beta4...jzipstb4.zip

The original game runs fine from hard disk, just copy all the files from your floppy disks to a folder on your hard drive and launch CURSE.PRG. 🙂

Seems to be working even if it says it is currently disabled. Last public post is from yesterday.

Thanks Grazey for this excellent tutorial about both music ripping and (to an extend) Steem boiler! And I hope you will do more tutorials (especially shadow registers).

Only 2 of those disks are available. Would be cool if someone could dump the remaining ones...
Dumped files from TOSEC attached.

Absolute agree. https://atarilegend.com/news/news.php You can find in 1 minute the answer

Thanks for the advertising!

Fair enough. No more trolling

Huh? Are you mentally challenged?
Anyway credits go to Kodak80 for being the first to provide a working dump of Tetra Quest.

Funny how you release a fixed version of this game litteraly 24 hours after someone else did exactly the same at AF. But hey, that must be coincidence.

What about fixing your half-assed version of Fate Gates of Dawn ? It's not on your list yet your 'adaptation' (actually, a simple hard drive installation without any kind of testing from your side) still has the protection in place. Oh, and it 'works not' on Falcon VGA either.
-
And what I found today at our beloved AF ? : http://atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=34998
Does it seem to you as inspired by this my list ? Only that he removed Son Shu Shi from some reason, and changed order, so can say that I'm now paranoid

Btw. congrats for 'great' formulation marcer - no it's not just poor English, that's pure nonsense actually.
Yes, I clearly say here and now that we are so low now, at the end of year 2018, that people can steal and nobody cares. Except few. Where this leads ? Where gravity pulls.
Btw. it's me who found problems with Iron Lord, Son Shu Shi, Jinx, Tetra Quest. No word about it there. And no word about fixed Tetra Quest:
http://atari.8bitchip.info/SCRSH/tetraq.html
What forums are for ? To present only own version of things, and does not matter how false it is ? Yes, that's where all that PC and 'be nice' crap leads. Only care about surface, what is deeper is not relevant. Shallowness is how it is called in other word. Democracy, freedom of speech means not that anyone can say and write what wants. And PC is what should take care about it - but it does on so shallow level that is good only for abusing it. Thank you for reading this, The harder part: understanding it may take much more time.
Can't you read ? As Orion stated in that AF thread you linked, a fully fixed version of Son Su Shi is currently being worked on. And thankfully not by you.

Yopaz Ice Star is a nice puzzle game, I like it a lot !

NP, and when it comes to Eazyrider, you can easily find a v3 in german language, and there is a v4 that is in english, but from my own experience when recompiling with Devpac I got some compilation errors from programs disassembled with Eazyrider v4, while it went just fine with source code from v3. Maybe it was just some incorrect options set up. Also, once you disassemble an executable with Eazyrider don't forget to exit it, then launch the CONVERT.PRG to get something Devpac will recognize.
-
Excellent! I spent hours playing those games ! But... no Superfly? (My fave one)

But real answer is: you will need more than it.
Newsflash: I agree with you.
@pixelmischief: you'll need Eazyrider to disassemble, knowledge and code examples from AC and other sources and Devpac to reassemble the whole thing.

I apparently bought them all when he had them on sale before, though I think the only one I have had time to try is Alice's Mom's Rescue, which I played on the Falcon and it seemed for some reason I couldn't jump. Will have to try that again.
I had the same issue last time I played it. But I remember it worked with keyboard control.
-
Jesus ! After some 5 editings it's now total mess . Sure, that's me who is culprit

Great, more cross-posting forum drama.
At least now your forum posting skills are up to par with your half-assed 'adaptations'.

Ultima VI problem
in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
Posted
The main difference is that the ST version sucks. It requires 1 MB of RAM, is way too slow, looks like crap and is virtually unplayable without a hard disk, unless you want to swap disks every 10 seconds. But yes, beyond the technical shortcomings a great game is hiding even though I prefer the previous 2 episodes.
