  1. Can you do £12 shipped to Denmark? You can use the box for shipping, as I will trash it on arrival. The manual I don't need either. If the PSU is standard voltages, trash that as well. SIO cable I could always use.
  2. Wow, hefty specs! But thanks for the info.
  3. Will it run on a sio2sd? Ps. Great work mate!
  4. I've got two nice Apple iMac G5's. Any interest?
  5. You can also use the UAV to s-video mod the PAL 600XL. That's what I did.
  6. Those photos are obsolete. I worked further on the mod and used s-video instead. Now the picture quality is perfect. UAV does seem to have lower saturation, but I haven't tried adjusting it. I kinda like it that way. Dakidski
  7. Will do, but no way I'm going back to composite. I now have my dream Atari setup. 600XL is one of the best looking micros. And the picture is just great now. Regards.
  8. I was caught in the old mindset: 'PAL 600XL can only do composite.' I actually purchased UAV in order to improve this composite, but then all of the sudden yesterday night I was like: "hey wait... UAV can output s-video!?" So silly, lol.
  9. Silly me! I can now hook up my 600 XL with the s-video cable, instead of being forced to comsposite only. The picture is flawless!! Wow! Thanks Bryan!!! Now I can sell off those ugly XE-models. Photos taken in direct sunlight, but they still show the 600XL with a superb picture: http://imgur.com/a/0JOCU
  10. A modern 5V 3a. I use it on my 800XE as well, where it does not affect the s-video picture. http://m.imgur.com/cmgyKUu
  11. Succes! Before and after pictures. Atari 600 XL PAL. It didn't remove the noise pattern, which moves from the bottom of the screen to the top. I believe that is due to a hardware fault / bad design in the 600 XL. http://imgur.com/a/A8DW2
  12. Thank you! Lines cut. (Checked with multimeter.) UAV plugged in. - No problem with height. No need to bend resistors. I used the supplied chip socket to elevate the UAV. Jumpers set to Atari 600 XL. Now I just need the wires! Pics that may or may not help someone: http://imgur.com/a/wBfYC
  13. So these are the two cuts (marked as red lines) that I need to make? http://imgur.com/a/Cc6HZ I've never cut lines before, but I suppose a dremel can do the job. How deep do I cut? BTW. I removed the RF-modulator. Additional detail pictures (taken today) of the Atari 600 XL PAL board: http://imgur.com/a/EavrE Regards, dakidski
  14. Would love a 600 XL PAL guide. I'm unsure exactly where to cut the traces, and how to go about that. Would love visuals too. So far I've been waiting with the install, until other users post their experience with 600 XL. Cheers.
  15. How would you go about installing the plug-in UAV in a PAL 600 XL? The Atari 600 XL PAL-version comes from the factory with din video-port featuring composite output (contrary to the US-version I believe.) Can I connect the UAV directly to the video-port pins? On top of the old composite? Or do I need to kill/isolate the old composite signal first? Pics of my board: http://imgur.com/a/v2Byu Regards, dakidski
  16. Hmm I guess more graphic/text adventures and stuff like King's Quest.
  17. Don't stress Bryan. We can wait. I hope everyone will show patience and let Bryan work in peace.
  18. Let us know when we should watch our inboxes here.
  19. Not sure. Try asking this guy: http://arduitapemarkii.blogspot.dk/
