  1. Hi Kevtris. I've been following this thread for a while, but I don't recall seeing any comments of yours in which you mentioned even a ballpark release date for the Zimba 3000. Do you have a rough idea on what year it'll come out? Also, is the PC Engine CD possible on the Zimba? Thanks, looking forward to reading more about what's going on with the Zimba and the NT Mini. Take care.
  2. Thanks for the update. Is the Saturn possible?
  3. Thanks for your clear explanation. Definitely. I subscribe to his YouTube channel (highly recommended), and the guy just exudes integrity. Really looking forward to seeing more of his work.
  4. Thanks a lot for answering my questions. In my second question, I was asking if you expected the Zimba 3000's hardware to outlive the hardware of the original systems (such as the NES, Master System, etc.). I don't know how to describe it in technical terms, but basically, those systems will stop working at some point, and I was wondering you expect the Zimba's hardware to still be going strong when that happens. I have a few other questions, but I'm not trying to monopolize your time here, so of course it's no problem at all if you don't answer them. 1. Any chance the FDS will be one of the systems in the Zimba? You mentioned Famicom, but I'm assuming you meant just the regular system, not the Disk System. 2. If the Zimba supports SD cards, will there be a barebones menu from which to run ROMs, or will there be more options, such as what the Everdrives feature? I guess my question is about both the menu and whether or not certain features like save states will be "built in" to the Zimba. I have most of the Everdrives, and I'm just curious if the Zimba would render some or all of them unnecessary. 3. What do you expect the Zimba to have as far as controller ports? I mean, will it be possible to use the original controllers without buying third-party adapters, or will you offer certain upgrades so, say, I could plug my NES controller straight into the Zimba? Thanks again. Looking forward to seeing how things evolve with the Zimba 3000.
  5. I've read through this whole thread, and I've read up a bit on FPGAs, but I'm still a bit unsure about a few things. 1. On the Zimba, would all games play, look, and sound exactly the same as they would on the original systems? 2. Any idea what the life expectancy of the Zimba would be? I'm assuming one reason for making it is because it'll (presumably) outlast the original systems. Is that correct? 3. Are there any expected "disadvantages" or weaknesses of the Zimba? If anyone, Kevtris or otherwise, could shed some light on any or all of my questions I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
  6. Hi. I've been following this thread for a while now. Thanks for all the really interesting insights, I've learned a lot. FYI, I'm in the "name your price" crowd, as long as it has a composite option and a way to connect the original controllers.
  7. Sorry for reviving an old topic, but hopefully this will prevent some people from getting scammed: http://krikzz.com/forum/index.php?topic=3745.0
