I think the main difficulty would be the parabolic arc for the spit, which may require a large lookup table.
Not at all. You just would have to add some constants (gravity and wind) to the vertical and horziontal speeds each frame and automatically get a pretty correct parabolic arc.

Seems pretty doable. It is round based, right?

I am feeling stupid now...

Blue and yellow don't blend into grey but green. You have to mix complementary colors (e.g. blue and orange or green and red) for getting grey.

Just played a few minutes (at the office
). Damn, this is tough!!! Can you please post some screenshot s of the other levels. Or better, make them selectable.BTW: Never heared about that Gingerbread Man story. Can anybody please explain?

Wow, didn't realize that the Chimera is going to be that big.
-
I wouldn't worry about that. Someone will find an exploit. Someone always does.
Sure, but still there will be far less applications developed then.

I watched some video on the Apple website. Very impressive, especially the parts where you scan through the album covers. And the two finger interface also seems pretty cool (fortunately I don't have greasy skin
).But without memory slot, UMTS (google maps will take minutes without it) and expecially by being bound to Apple I am not interested.

Next up - I need to catch up on some sprites, including one you asked me to do some months ago.

Great! The better it gets, the more it will motivate me. And I suppose I will be VERY motivated.

Great job, Nathan (as usual)!

My name(s) are pretty boring, sadly - Robert Thomas Montgomery. TJ might disagree about the middle name though

Thomas IS pretty boring. Way too many people of my age have this name.
My 2nd name is Horst (after my Nazi officer grandpa who volunteered for the eastern front in late 1944
). -
BTW, I haven't updated it for the most recent years, but check out http://www.casperkitty.com/nametabl.htm if you want to see how names have come and gone over the years. Every name that ever made the top 10 (boys listed separately from girls) from 1880-2003.
There are similar (but very different) lists for Germany. You better avoid the recent top 10 names (I know what I am talking about).

Actually I was just kidding.

Looks like you prefer names ending with 'a'.

My Top choices were "Kassandra", "China", "Luna" and "Andromeda", yet my wife vetoed all of them out

How about Hydra? Mekka? Nova? Stella!
BTW: Just from the sound of it, I think "Binary" would make a cool girls name
Yes, doesn't sound bad.

We're currently thinking of calling her Pandora

I hope you get a boy then.

Cool news for May! Boy or Girl?
-
I have given up making plans. They never worked.

Hitting HMOVE twice might also give some interesting results.
-
The read-modify write instructions write twice. The first write occurs on cycle 4 and just writes back what was read from the location, and then it does the operation and writes the result on cycle 5.
Hm, I wonder if eventually someone finds a good use for that.
-
I also tried INC, ASL, LSR, ROL, ROR, DCP, and ISB, and all of them seem to change VBLANK early.
Weird.
-
One for TJ
:Hehe!
Actually, I do remember it pretty well.

-
Not sure, but maybe something like ASL or DEC VBLANK might work too.
-
Maybe he hasn't completely rotted away yet?
Yuck!
-
Uhm, since when do skeletons have a potbelly? Or what is he hiding there?
