  1. Yes, but that's one of the key factors to create good games. Ideas are plenty and I have LOTS of unfinished projects on my HD too. But to really finish a game, you have to have a lot of stamina.
  2. I just had the "pleasure" to listen to the terrible remake of a better unnamed trash musician. So I dug out the gorgeous original from Matia Bazar. Enjoy!
  3. Both are definitely not done with bBasic.
  4. Which batari Basic games are considered to be the best? Let's make a list and then we can start a poll to find out the best one.
  5. Competition Pro 5000, precise and build like a tank:
  6. I get: The address http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=quick_search&search_filter_app[forums]=1 is not available.
  7. I always get an error message when trying to search for "thrust". Other terms work.

I have her first sampler "Masci e Altri" on my MP3 player.
  9. Did anyone ever scrutinize the ROM? This is not simply an overdump, but an 8K ROM! The first 4K are filled with about 1.5k code, the 2nd one with about 3k. So both together do not fit into 4k. Speculation: 1. The hacker added some new code (most likely by far) 2. Todd Frye's unknown, lost 8k Pac-Man proto I am no Pac-Man expert, does it play differently?
  10. Not necessary. It could be vice-versa. Maybe this is the original with space left for the distributors to add their logos?
  11. No, it's the perfect excuse to collect sealed games. My evil plan starts to take effect.
  12. No, it is exactly 30 frames (= 0.5s). That's when the load gets triggered. It does take some time until it is finished, maybe that's what you are calculating?
  13. Any manual workaround for this if I really want to see what's behind the link?
  14. 1/2 second to be precise. I wonder if that's too short as it interferes with fast paging.
  15. We added the ability to disable the color cycling with the B/W switch and we changed the colors of the menu entries from blue/orange to green/white to match the label coloring. BTW: AFAIK you can go back any time.
  16. Interesting project. Probably a bit late now, but I noticed that you encoded all levels by hand. The 2600 original calculates them by using a really simple bidirectional LFSR. Have a look disassembly, its in the web.
  17. The link in this post doesn't work: http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/63710-detecting-the-console/page__view__findpost__p__795045
  18. Oops, forgot the incompatibility of the 7800 here.
  19. Post on the Marketplace forum with all info you have. The offers should be coming soon.
