  1. There are two ways how do interpret the paddle. 1. paddle position = sprite position (e.g. Kaboom!) 2. paddle position = speed With option 2, you could perfectly scroll left and right at varying speeds.
  2. Basically that's very similar to what I thought too. I think I will add by size, company and maybe programmer. And also subcategories for hacks, TV format conversions and for unreleased or WIP homebrew versions. And I definitely won't remove all PAL or NTSC versions.
  3. You can reprogram the cart via USB for a bug fixed or improved BIOS (menu, driver etc.).
  4. Same here, just vice versa, except where no adequate PAL version exists. Regarding Atarimania's ROM collection, I am sure the order of the information contained in the filename can be changed easily.
  5. Today my mother's dog died. He was only 12 years old. RIP Felix

    Harmony Memory

Since Chris and I have fixed some minor stuff lately, I suppose there will be a number of smaller bugs reported for the menu too. And maybe some suggestions for improvements. It is sooo good to have an updatable BIOS.
  7. You can use the phosphor effect emulation in z26 and Stella for those.
  8. If it would be easy, the game wouldn't flicker originally. This is no easy hack job, it requires a major rewrite of the whole kernel. And since all Atari 2600 games are build around the kernel, you'd have to rewrite almost the whole game.
  9. Dragster is not exactly a racing game to me.
  10. That's news too me too. Is it really true?
  11. Without reliable management of the website, the contest is dead. I didn't vote for the first time this year.
  12. I see letters, colors, pattern, ... And LOTS of yet undefined stuff. This is going to be FUN!
  13. I let you figure out yourself before I give you any hints.
  14. It's the strategy which makes this game so great. E.g. try beating the top level without loosing a base. Impossible without some serious strategy.

    Sweet Jane

Definitely! I still remember that I bought the Trinity Sessions about 20 years ago at the Berlin 2001 store.
  16. Try those with dots at the end (Playing...). 404: File not Found! One link would have done it.
  17. This one is even worse: http://www.atariage.com/forums/blog/54-planet-bob/page__tag__Playing...
