  1. I liked both back then, hard do say which one I really preferred. Probably I prefer graphics over music a bit more. BTW: You should link to your Katakis blog entry.
  2. I agree, this looks much better. Else it would look like he is doing a "Moonwalk". I never noticed the overall syncing before, but your explanation makes complete sense.
  3. REVS+ The first and only realistic racing simulation game for the C64.
  4. Yup. 750 for the shooting gun + 300 for picking up the fuel +2000 for the 1st planet +2000 bonus for destroying the planet --------------- =5050 total
  5. You know, those compliments of people who actually play my game and have fun, those are the ones who make me happy. Thank you! Credits for the music have to go to Paul Slocum. He really does magic there.
  6. That might work. Even if, the ball would have to share color with the background graphics.
  7. I also understood that bB/batari should just get their well deserved credits.
  8. Or we could use two sprites and flicker if the other sprite is needed in the same row too?
  9. I like the colors of the message. Are they animated?
  10. In order of the FAT entries. So philosophy behind this is, that the user has full control about it. He can use his preferred tools and Harmony will not interfere.
  11. What version are they using for the Wii? Opera Mobile?
  12. Nope, doesn't work. I suppose too much RAM. But AFAIK the design could be adapted.
  13. Are you sure you are talking about Opera here?
  14. So no autoscaling tools. How long do you need for each frame of an animation? On average.
  15. You sure could define 16 different actions. But then you could not combine them anymore. So if you e.g. have a controller with 16 buttons and the user presses two buttons, this will be interpreted like pressing one of the 16 buttons.
  16. This looks gorgeous. I wonder how you create those animations? Any tools you use? Maybe you could describe and even illustrate the process with an example animation?
  17. The first post on [stella] was almost 10 years ago. Time flies! Thanks. I hope it will return soon.
  18. Boing has a purple background. NTSC Boing played on PAL has grey background (odd scanlines cause color loose on PAL) PAL Boing played on NTSC has green/blue background
  19. Glad you like it. And yes, it is tough, but not unfair. It's all about practice, practice, practice. And practice! I hope you still find the time for a store review. You mean Thrust++² Ultimate!
  20. But they do know how to use Google, don't they? Maybe Al should better hide this thread from the bots then?
  21. Or maybe even being able to use the river to your advantage. But very risky!
