  1. Still sounds like a contact problem to me. Even more cleaning?
  2. @ZeroPage Homebrew I didn't know about INV3 before. Thanks for posting! Actually that looks pretty much like my own attempts of displaying 11 invaders (left difficulty = A randomly switches invaders on and off, right difficulty = A is for debugging, I started this before Stella had debug colors). But in my demo, the invaders are moving and are equally spaced. I also had a version with shields, but setting up the shields required a lot of kernel lines (or more RAM), which required a too big vertical gap between shields and invaders. So I eventually abandoned the project. TomInv (no shields).bin
  3. The problem always arises if you cannot reproduced it easily. Then a video helps a lot. Or very good descriptions of the error.
  4. Finally I saw the paddle button failing on the Harmony cart, thanks for showing. Maybe I can trace down the issue now. You could have used the console switches in that case. Or did you and they failed too?
  5. 6.1-beta2 is the second beta of the 6.1 release, 6.1.2 is the second fix of the 6.1 release.
  6. Our character is moving through a room, you see him from the side and the floor from the top. Some kind of 2.5D view. IMO this is very logical that you do not touch the floor with your head. Else you have E.T. "logic", where you fall into a pit because your head touches it. That's wat people hate with passion.
  7. Without asking for permission:
  8. And only 15 years later, this letter and the patch became reality.
  9. @ZeroPage Homebrew Congratulations on your three anniversaries. Attached is a hacked 262 lines version of Mondo Pong. Maybe you can give it another try. The game is from 1997, where we had no utterly sensitive digital displays. Mondo Pong V2 (Piero Cavina) (PD) (262 lines).bin BTW: When I came up with "FlapPing" that was one of my rare moments of creativity.
  10. Too bad. I wonder if we could reconstruct the original single image. Would that be just the individual ROMs merged? The screenshot is interesting. It is most likely doing nothing in the console, because the hardware doesn't support the bankswitching. So there must have been existed a console or cart which supports it. And its contents got simply copied (pirated) for this console.
  11. Do you really have to pay money to get your records accepted?
  12. Maybe you could integrate the game's developer into your stream. So that he can interact live with you, while you are playing.
  13. The missing elements are still there. Just increase the debugger's screen size in the developer options.
  14. Thanks for positing the links. Too bad that the 128in1 archive doesn't contain the original file. Here are the TV Boy dumps I got so far. Note that the TV Boy (NTSC) one is a bad dump which is severely broken. Note: The next Stella release will support the TV Boy ROMs directly. Super TV Boy.bin TV Boy (NTSC) (bad).bin TV Boy (PAL).bin TV Boy 2.bin
  15. Thanks. Yes, the menus are from the same origin. The 3rd one you posted is not from the TV Boys. I just today received the ROMs and they show the same menu as the other TV Boys. Where did you find the screenshot? BTW: Can you post the complete ROM of the 208 in 1 cart, please?
  16. Question: So far I only found ROMs, pictures and videos with this menu screen: But there exists another menu ROM which displays the following screen (and has different music). Where does this one come from? Maybe from another TV Boy variant?
  17. Some suggestion of older games: - Mondo Pong - Joust Pong (aka FlapPing) - Pong Combat - Bee Ball - Space Instigators - Escape It - Encaved - Raster Fahndung - Inv 2/Inv+ I tried to select games which would work well on the show. So no puzzles or so.
  18. Thanks for the info, but where are the dumps? Found some: https://bda.retroroms.info:82/downloads/mame/update-packs/mame-0194/ (stvboy.zip and tvboyii.zip)
  19. The problem with Elf Adventure is, that the RAM is not initialized. The ROM works if you disable RAM randomization in the developer options.
  20. Its a bad dump, why should one keep it?
