Indeed. But the teeth don't match, that's a bit irritating.

The problem is, that each bank contains the 1st 2K repeated as the 2nd 2K. 50% are missing. But the good news is, that the existing two 2K banks are 100% identical with the NTSC release version. So this is no prototype ROM and nothing got lost.
-
The combined ROMs are already in ROM Hunter's collection.
-
Yup.
-
The ROMS you listed are ~8K, the combined ROMs have ~33K.
-
For playing the Starpath ROMs, you should use the combined ROMs.
-
All games are adapted for the hardware and emulated. Since the hardware already does it, the ROM doesn't have to take care of creating the TV signal anymore. And it also doesn't have to race the beam, but the data is written into a graphics buffer. So when a game is "thinking" the screen is kept stable and the current buffer content is displayed.

The Ms. Pac-Man prototype looks like a bad dump. There seems to be a lot of data missing.

Hm... Can anyone reproduce the problem? I can't. -
That game is a piece of crap. Try pressing UP.

Theoretically it should work. I suppose it is a physical problem. Try cleaning the connectors. -

I suppose you now understand why I cheated at Cosmic Ark using electronics as a kid. Watched you wondering about cheating at Cosmic Ark too. It would work, but you have to keep your energy level up. For each missed shot (or meteor hit) your lose some energy. But you can still cheat by collecting one beastie and going back to the meteor shower. That will increase your energy. And you can lose the beastie on the same planet again. And so on. BTW: The planet defense eventually gets to an insane speed too, just somewhat later than the meteor showers. 😈 -
I doubt anyone back then even noticed a pattern. Neither the developers and nor the players.
-
I don't think the patterns are intentional, I suppose the knowledge we have now wasn't there back then.

Sorry, I thought you asked for something special for the UnoCart. You can save on a standalone cart. Chetiry and Star Castle Arcade do so.
-
I doubt the UnoCart can emulate a SaveKey. And proprietary solutions would fraction the system.

In such cases, try to delete the sqlite files. -
I cannot find them anymore too. BTW: Some shots are broken, e.g. Fathom, Kick-Man and Wizard. And ~25 are all black (the smallest files).
-
There is also quite some motion blur.
-
Good idea. But why is there so much blur in the shots?

Each cart has an ARM chip inside. -
Yup, as written in my disassembly from 2001.

This was presented at Revision demo party by AA member @SvOlli a few years ago. -
It would be cool if you could also check the randomness (using some standard test) of the generated byte or bit sequences. I am sure there are quite some differences. BTW: Adding River Raid would be nice.
