I suppose 90% or more of the game sessions of multiplayer games are solo playing (if they offer such variations).

"Z" like in Zeropage? -
@Omegamatrix Have you thought about saving the selected options on SaveKey/AtariVox? So that you can directly start playing where you left it, e.g. using your favorite options.
-
It is a standard 4K cart, so there is a good chance that it will work using the dumper.

ZeroPage Homebrew Twitch Stream
Thomas Jentzsch replied to ZeroPage Homebrew's topic in Homebrew Discussion
I found that this is a game which is best played in the morning, when our reflexes are best. True story: This was one of the few games I had as a kid. And even then the meteor waves became way too fast for me. But I wanted to know all the "beasties". So I used my Fischertechnik electronics, put two photo cells at the left and right of the TV screen and used relays to make the ship fire left and right automatically. Eventually even the relays where not reacting fast enough anymore. I found out that I could increase the voltage to make them faster and overpowered them as much as I dared. This allowed further progress, but still wasn't fast enough to see all "beasties"... I only found out after I return back to the 2600 in ~2000. -

30K in Cosmic Ark??? Good luck! -
The bricks are created by using the repeated RESPx trick. So each brick is a sprite and the horizontal gaps are from the 1 pixel gaps between the sprites. The kernel uses no WSYNC, so it can be used for both rows, with the 2nd one shifted by one cycle.
-
That's a pretty smart brick kernel. Simple, but effective!
-
That sounds even better than I had expected.
-
I know you optimized the code. Nevertheless ~30% is still cool. And then, the gained flexibility may also have allowed some of the optimization, didn't it? Besides some simple test programs, this is the first real world example.

Very cool to hear that 3E+ became that useful.

Problem is, that this club doesn't show up in my list of clubs I have joined. So I always have to search for it. -

Hm, either I am stupid or there is no join option available for this club. -
Thrust+ is switchable (left difficulty) between PAL and NTSC, but not into B&W. So your problem must be something else.
-
Is it possible to join the club? Makes it easier to follow it.

2020 Harmony Games Round 2- Aardvark

If you are looking for my trick, look at the screenshot. It gives it away. -
Glad you like 3E+. It would help if you let me know which features are really relevant and which are not or only minimal.

2020 Harmony Games Round 2- Aardvark

Looks like no one found my latest trick yet. 63,760 Interesting glitch at 3:00:27 and how Tanya freaked out. Never saw that one before. I have to analyse it... Looks like the spider got overwritten by the worm. This shouldn't happen. But in the final version the spider behavior has been changed anyway. Fingers crossed that fixed it. The simultaneous death happening when you eat the queen is intentional. Both things must happen in the same frame then. -

So close. -
Only the 4K ones. And they will only maybe work.
-
Nope. If you want to play Merlin's Walls, try z26.
-
BTW: The initial phase shifts too when warming up. The pot has a very short usable range (~30°) and is very sensitive. Outside the range the colors suddenly jump to grayscale. To get PAL color 2 close to something yellowish, I have my console set to the minimum. Now, when I turn the pot to the minimum in usable range when the console is warmed up, a cold console will just display grayscale colors.

By now I suppose the 33° simply result from rotated axes of YIQ (compared to YUV).
