I suppose you should ask Glenn Saunders.

Thomas Jentzsch replied to DirtyHairy's topic in Atari 2600
Sounds like a bug. We will look into this when time permits. -

That was the answer for BitMerge6502, not for you. 64MB is not enough, sorry. -

I think it would be easier to write a simple Atari 2600 program for copying, no? -
Subscribing to the clubs helps a lot.

ZeroPage Homebrew Twitch Stream
Thomas Jentzsch replied to ZeroPage Homebrew's topic in Homebrew Discussion
Just finished watching the Friday show. Excellent! Looks like I have to get an AtariVox too. And thanks for trying to organize early shows again. BTW: If you are looking for good Atari 2600 music, two tips: Everything from Paul Slocum, he provided most impressive music for a number of homebrew games (Marble Craze, Star Fire, Thrust...) TiaTracker music. Even though not homebrew, people have released a lot of great tracks created with it. -
Sorry, I simply forgot that he final ROM is not released and that there is no mode selection in the demo. For now, you have to play the demo, which most likely will result into a test of stamina. The difficulty maxes out soon and from then on you can play forever. Probably not a ROM well suited for a contest like this. Sorry again. I will ask Al and Oscar about a release date for the final ROM. IMO the sooner the better, but there are probably good reasons to postpone further.

Paddles and Paddles_IAxDr are identical, except for the reversed axis. So if one is jumpy and one is not, this makes no sense. Sorry, I am running out of ideas.
-
Now I am confused. Why are you using Paddles_IAxDr instead of just Paddles? No wonder that the axis is reversed.
-
So "Paddles_IAxDr" does not work? BTW: Without any info, I have to assume you are using the latest version of Stella.

PlusCart (an inexpensive DIY WiFi multicart)
Thomas Jentzsch replied to Al_Nafuur's topic in Atari 2600
I couldn't reproduce since then, so no worries. -
That's because of the cart. There is a potentiometer inside the cart which controls the pitch. And its settings differs between the carts. That's why Stella got an extra setting for Pitfall II in the Audio settings dialog.

You can reverse the paddle x axis directions in the Game Properties/Controllers dialog.

Did you clean the contacts? The more the better.

To Roll or not to Roll?
Thomas Jentzsch replied to Thomas Jentzsch's topic in Atari 2600 Programming
Sure, but this can be part of the issue. Good idea. -
To Roll or not to Roll?
Thomas Jentzsch replied to Thomas Jentzsch's topic in Atari 2600 Programming
Can you please create an issue for this? -
Ah, you are talking about R77. You could go into advanced settings and map the screenshot (aka snapshot) action to a console or joystick button.
-
F12 (see accompanied documentation for more options). You cannot record videos, but you can create continuous screenshots (again RTFM )
-
That doesn't sound like a Stella bug. Might be your OS.
