I loved watching season 1 and 2. I can't wait until season 3 starts this summer. I don't watch much TV but I love this series.

30 for a 2600 and 4 joysticks. The seller had it listed for 3 weeks. I contacted him and said it was sold. Was thinking of giving all my family members 2600's and games for christmas one year... or better yet a harmony cart.
That's a good price if it works. I can't seem to find anything locally.

I don't think so but thanks for the link. I got an email from some asking me about the value of this system so I thought I would ask around for them. So is $100 still about the going rate?
-
I have a friend who would like to know the value of a console that they have. They have been the only owner. It is an unopened NIB VCS 2600a. They received two as Christmas gifts as a kid. One has been in the closet unopened ever since. They don't want to sell it. They just want an idea of the value. Thanks.
-
As a kid I wanted both. I loved playing games on the 2600 and I learned to program on the VIC-20.

That what happens when store employees know nothing about what they are selling.

I still have my textured lapel button from the Asteroids contest at Woodfield Mall. It's cool. As you look at it from different angles the ship would appear to enter the asteroid field. I was unbeatable throughout the whole day's tournament.
So are you still unbeatable?

I was told by an employee that the Salvation Army store here gets Atari 2600s and Commodore 64s and they sell them for about $5 when they come in. But I have never seen them. I was told they sell within minutes of being put on the shelf. I haven't been lucky enough to be in the store when they put them out.

-
I have never played Star Trek on the 2600. I will have to check it out today.
-
Asteroids is the first game I remember playing on the 2600. It has always been one of my favorites.
-
I have way to many to count. I will be working on restoring some of them tonight.
-
Nice! I will have to check all of these out. Thanks!

Don't send items that do not qualify as media as media mail. USPS may inspect the package and charge the person receiving the package the additional shipping costs.
This is from the USPS website.
"video games, whether on CD-ROM, diskettes, or similar software, regardless of form, or playable systems including computers, do not meet the standards for Media Mail. In addition, storage devices such as “portable hard drives,” "thumb drives," "flash drives," "jump-drives" and "USB drives” for use with computers are also not eligible for Media Mail prices."
I bought an item on ebay once and the seller shipped it media mail. When the mailman came to deliver it he said I need to pay the $29.84 additional postage due. I refused the package and got a refund on ebay. They lost the sale and were out the postage costs.
If USPS thinks you are abusing media mail they may blacklist you and start inspecting all your media mail packages.
