Sounds like it might be River Raid II to me, but not 100%.

Love the idea. Very unique and original! Am I to take it TOM is the one from Toonami? I would like to suggest one of my personal favorites, Cosmic Ark.

Well, you got me there. Yet for me it didn't start as an interest in the history, but in the games. My Mom got my Dad a "Flashback," but I played it more than he did. Simple, maybe even primitive, yet still oddly entertaining, sometimes more so than the Wii games that were all the rage at the time, it was amazing. However, the buttons on the thing shorted out after a while, so when I saw a system and some games for sale in an antique store, I bought it. Over time I wanted to know more about the games I enjoyed, and that is when I became interested in the history too, and well, here I am.

As promised, I took pictures, here's one. The rest are in my Supercharger gallery.

Its also interesting to me the lack of consistency of the color of what I call the run up, that part on the real before the Mylar starts or ends. From yellow, to blue, and on Party Nuts its pink.© 2017 David Haring

A mystery envelop in some of the boxes. Its unclear to me if this was used by collectors to replace lost Starpath envelops, or if these were put in during the Arcadia days.© 2017 David Haring

Original papers in the Phaser Patrol box. Oddly, most of the boxes have envelopes like the one here, which does actually have adhesive glue on it. The Arcadia box even had the original paper and metal twist tie still in the box.© 2017 David Haring

The End Labels for the Supercharger systems. Also notice how different the cables on them are. The Arcadia on has a silver cord, while the Starpath one is plain black.© 2017 David Haring

The Supercharger units themselves, often referred to as 'systems' in official literature. Notice the one labeled Arcadia has a single black band around the audio jack. If I remember correctly, this means its a mono audio jack. The Starpath labeled one has a simpler plain jack.© 2017 David Haring
