That was a pack in for the Coleco Gemini! I like getting those cause I have one. They aren't super common, but otherwise it's no different than any other copy of the game.

Thanks Yanbu! That side really looks like a mail circular, and I would lean Montgomery Ward after seeing it, they seemed to have nicer things like silver plate than Penny's.
-
And now I totally regret it. Plus side, I remember why I hate forums. Almost never anything nice being said.

I'm being to regret posting this topic at all...

It has a J next to the page number, Anyone know of the significance of that? Maybe it was part of a circular with multiple stores advertising, like Green Tab. I'd love to see the other side just out of curiosity.

Younger members: how/why did you get into Atari?
up2knowgood replied to Karl G's topic in Atari 2600
I'm only 28, so I missed all of Atari, but one year my Mom got my Dad a Flashback system as a gag gift, but I was interested in the old games. I found them more enjoyable than the Nintendo 64 games of my cousins. Years later I bought my own original Atari and some games, from there I found it amazing that the history of the system and games was so easy to find, and I have stayed interested. The community here has helped too. -
I say A because stickers aren't cheap.

So I just found this Grand Prix blue label. It looked odd to me but I couldn't put my finger on why, then it hit me, its on wrong! I bought it, and now can't help but wonder how rare/uncommon this is. I'm also curious how hard it would be to remove a label from an Atari cartridge, as I've never attempted it before.

Huh, glue stick for the win then. May have to try that again sometime. Maybe use a good brand.
-
Really? I used a glue stick once, and it like soaked and shown through the label.
-
I use just small dabs of a PVC super glue in drops on the cartridge itself. Very very, little. That stuff presses out so far, but holds forever.
-
I would try that hair dryer first. And on a very common game, like Pac man, so if it doesn't work, it's no big loss.
-
Why not plug it into the console and see if you recognize the game?

...please tell me you're going to do some third party games too. -
Eh...for most maybe, but I like the look of the console too.
-
I would like, thank you!
-
Cool! I like getting those when I can to go with my Gemini.
-
100% support. Maybe do customs in the future too. Like initials or the Fuji maybe.

Hang up on the wall next to the 2016 Electoral College Map. XD
-
Not sure if you meant that to be as sarcastic as it sounds, but if those are all original, how did you get so many?

Put a drinking straw in the indent then mark it where the top of the ridge is. All the CX-10s I have seen have the disk level with that ridge. Also, I would be interested in a repo disk, my CX-10 is just for display, and not playable.

I actually like my Gemini. That said, mine was $60 complete, plus the owner's manual. So $40 for a lot of doubt? Pass. $20, eh...maybe.

....waaaaaant....want. In all seriousness, this idea is surprisingly common, and not just with video games, how many of us had or knew someone who had a T.V. with a VCR in it? I own a flat screen that has a built-in DVD player right now. I heard somewhere that there was even a T.V. with a CD-i in it!
