Hopefully #1 doesn't have that. I stopped playing Final Fantasy V becasue it required me to have some EXACT class for one of my characters, and I thought "that makes no sense" I recently got Xenoblade for the 3DS and it's too action oriented for me. I want my RPGs turn-based thank-you-very-much.

I just started SNES "Breath Of Fire" on the WiiU virtual console. It's the perfect RPG that I've been looking for! (I believe) -Old school JRPG -Obvious way to save your game -Obvious early choices for advancement -Grindy-level goodness -Short, understandable prologue story (find all the keys!) It feels like a Final Fantasy 1 or Phantasy Star 1. I love the simple template of those early games. I'm hoping Breath Of Fire stays true to that format and doesn't get all weird on me all-of-a-sudden.

Where Did You Get Your First Atari 2600 and What Type Was it?
fultonbot replied to TheAtarianGuy's topic in Atari 2600
Christmas 1981. 4 Switch. Also got a Breakout cartridge. My dad bought it from Gemco in Culver City, Ca. The video output was broken, and we had to stand in a long line on December 26th 1981 to get it replaced. The next day my brother and I went and bought Asteroids, Tennis and Dragster. The next week we picked-up Laser Blast. Missile Command and Adventure soon followed. Glorious time. -

Space Invaders, Asteroids And Galaxian Every enemy Was a tie fighter, every Hero, an X-wing Until finally, 1983, Star Wars Got its own coin-op Pilot an X-wing The Hulking Death star awaits Your vector attack Dive into the trench Fire the proton torpedoes Goodbye exhaust port! At 13 years old My Star Wars dreams realized I could now move on
