Yeah, because of the site issues, I only got the middle package, I guess the VIP was sold out-

Really not fair, lol, I'm definitely one of those "bitchers".

Stupid site problem caused me to miss out, knowing full well that most of the VIP packages went to "money people", who probably can't play the game for 5 minutes.(And won't, they bought them to resell, we all know that).

    Sheesh.

Anyone able to log in and download the game yet?

Not planning to resell mine , and I plan to play it until I complete it.

Up near the front, there was something of a commotion going on and it seemed to be taking a meandering but surprisingly quick route towards where I happened to be.  As I was getting ready to go somewhere else, the commotion veered away towards the video section.  Shadoe Stevens, completely coked out of his mind, had managed to get ahold of the camera and began shouting straight into it.  The monologue went something like this:

"FRED FUCKIN' RATED HERE FOR AND AT FEDERATED GROUP!  I KNOW YOU FOLKS FUCKING LOVE IT WHEN WE DO THIS, SO WE'RE GONNA BLOW SOME SHIT UP IN THE PARKING LOT!  YEAH!  CHECK IT OUT!  RIGHT NOW!  WOOOO!"

    That is amazing!

  3. The game is $60 for cart/box/instructions and the chance to win patches.
You get a whole bunch of other stuff for $100 and $140. Seems pretty fair to me.
And yeah, I'm a "slavering fan-boy" for it because it's "motherf$%*!ing" Crane/Kitchen/Kitchen making new games, and the game looks amazing.
I'm also a fan-boy for many other "homebrew/indie" games too.

I've been an Atari fan since 1978 and I'm not gonna apologize for being excited for this.

  4. Hey, does anyone here know anyone  who worked the Federated Group when Atari owned them that might be willing to be interviewed for a podcast?
    ...or

Does anyone have any interesting stories (usually horror, but they do not have to be horror stories)  of shopping at Federated Group when Atari owned them you'd like to share?

I'm a software guy, so I'm wondering if they plan on writing these games the old fashioned way or plan to use a more modern solution like batari basic. Shoot, you can even compile Java to Assembly if you want to, though sometimes the memory management gets a little wonky in the translation and you have to fix it manually.

I know Dan said last year on our podcast that he was working directly in assembly.

  7. I still want to know what the "exclusive" games will be.

There appear to be a few Activision titles and a few Atari 8-bit computer titles already available.

It would be nice if you could create short-cuts (deep links) into Ant-Stream and Atari Vault so you could play your favorite games directly from the interface.    That would be a nice Atari-VCS-Only feature for apps that otherwise exist on almost every other platform.
