HMMmmmm...Mine had more games last I checked...But just Barely!

Certainly true around here. I thought about driving to a town an hour away because while going through there recently I noticed how many pawn shops there were. I haven't made the trip yet, though. I'm not expecting great finds, though.

  2. My wife got me on a new diet. I misunderstood though I thought she said Aikido but really she said Keto. darn it was fun throwing that Ham around.

So, KETO diet is a high fat diet? In one website, it said to eat as many eggs as you want or less then 36. What about cholesterol in eggs and animal fat, it will clog up your vains?

Keto diet is a no-carb diet. This induces the body into ketosis, which is consuming body tissue (presumably excess fat), converting it into simple sugars to feed the brain. This is the typically job of carbohydrates.

It is a natural mechanism built into the body considered to be an *emergency* condition. It is literally what happens during starvation: sugar will be synthesized from wherever the body can find it in order to keep the brain alive.

It can be safe in moderation and under medical supervision, but most of its effects (including long-term health effects) are not fully understood.

  3. Back on the forum again. Its been a long time but vacation and work seems to always get in my way.

  4. Well those odds were against me. 3 sump pumps in my pit and 2 died at the same time leaving my piddly like 1/4 hp one to try to keep up with 5 inches of rain. It was a lost cause sadly but thanks to plastic tubs the games were all safe.

Yeah I guess they have to be ran periodically by pouring water in and letting the float rise so the pump will kick in. Also the batteries go bad. I think my friend has a little battery tender/float charger always connected to his battery backup to keep it always topped up.

I had the coupling on the pipe leading outside go bad. Nothing worse than ice cold water splashing all over the basement and me while trying to replace it.

      Damn! Sorry to hear it.

  5. Getting ready to get my summer project moving. Literally and hopefully all it needs are some tires and a battery and some fluids to get it going.

      GoldLeader

Awesome! I know I sold some Famicom/NES stuff after buying mine. I still mostly sell duplicates though. I figure I'll never sell my old old stuff from BITD (Atari carts for instance)...Too many memories.

    4. NE146

      NE146

I dunno.. I got most all the major everdrives and it hasn't whittled down any of the collections for their respective consoles by one single cart.

  8. Yay for finding out there is a recall on a car that will fix my problems. Nay for the possibility of having to drive it 200 miles to get to the nearest dealer.

  9. I think its time to re evaluate videos making again. I don't want to go crazy and all.

I limit it at when the cost exceeds the yield possible after fixing the car. My car was $600 and just a window can eat half that. Fixing it can yield much more use time, in which, I'd earn enough to replace the car.

Hmm maybe it's time to open that Java shop and encase old systems in boxes and use coin slots to activate and play games. Then video it all and scream while posting on SnapChat.

  22. So some facebook groups are full of leeches and king midas pretenders. Ugh bye bye retro gaming whatever whatever group you suck.

  23. So whats a fair rate for a Jaguar 3 button controller NIB, Doom CIB , and Checkered Flag CIB?

    1. Skippy B. Coyote

      Skippy B. Coyote

      Controller: $25

      Doom: $60

      Checkered Flag: $15

    2. Professor Gull

      Professor Gull

I think he is thinking the controller might be worth more. I mentioned getting a NIB one like 2 years ago for $20 so $25 seems more likely.

    1. Flojomojo

      Flojomojo

"Atari's Greatest Hits Vol 1," with Asteroids and 5 other games? More power to ya, I guess! The Saturn version is better than the Super Nintendo version. The main issue is gamepad control on trackball/spinner games.
