  1. Well those odds were against me. 3 sump pumps in my pit and 2 died at the same time leaving my piddly like 1/4 hp one to try to keep up with 5 inches of rain. It was a lost cause sadly but thanks to plastic tubs the games were all safe.

      That sucks. Were they both on the same house circuit with the same backup battery?

      Separate circuits for the 2 separate powered pumps. We never lost power but the battery backup one had not run in years and never needed to so turned out the impeller was rusted solid. I might consider that water powered backup at this point.
