  1. Space Shuttle for the Atari 2600 obviously this was meant for that game.
  2. Are these the bluetooth speakers you are talking about? This was about stupid questions right?
  3. So this box of mod boards I have to put into Saturn's to play burnable disks seems to be not worth anything then Oh well I was saving them for a rainy day so I will go leave them in the rain there.
  4. Long time no see atariage folks. What did I miss?

      Hmmm...

      Yeah, not much has happened.

  5. Diagnosis for ps4 Launch edition. Larrys machine ha ha.

  6. Ok so I got a power supply that is good on +5,-5,but the +12 registers at like 124 and such. Anyone ever had the thought of opening the innards of the coleco and adding the electrical components inside to offset needing to dremel the power supply open? Just looking for alternatives although knowing I would need to be able to retro fit the interior if I get a new power supply and all. Just thinking inside the other box and all. Thoughts are welcome here.
  7. Why must work take up all my want to have free time.

Work has this annoying tendency to eat up and ruin free time, that's for sure.

Sleep is a time thief as well. And don't forget video games, the dumbest time sink of them all. How I love them.

  8. I found this on one of my game disks and enjoyed the interview with some Atari folks.https://youtu.be/STJ6CMZLEHU

  9. No really though I had to get more coffee after this snippet, and then I got to thinking if the 11 Million dollar toy testing kid will he get an Atari Box to test? Kids have great imaginations.
  10. While watching morning news I saw this and I have no more words. http://www.wdio.com/GMN/tech-bytes-apple-atari/4703880/?cat=12780
  11. Ran into Target the other day and they were fire saling some Wii u games for 9.98. I snagged New Super Mario Wii U and Donkey Kong Country. I sense the end is nigh for Wii U retail so good time to keep an eye out for deals.
  12. See I have tried 2 different batteries with different results. Some cheaper Chinese brad ones lasted maybe 3 months tops but a Duracell one lasted more than a year. I also think it matters whether the units are plugged in or not as well but don't quote me there.
  13. Hmm so would Tunnel Runner be considered 3-d for its day and time? Cause that game to me is amazing for the 2600. I see lots of posts for Hard Driving and Race Driving for the Genesis. It was never the hardware in the Genesis as the issue for those since you can take a look at Kawasaki Super Bike challenge and wonder how the hell did they do that.

  15. So I have been meaning to get back into video creation but I have to do some laptop repairs. All set now to move forward yay.

  16. I would go with Gex. Enough platformer to get going and then you can stop at any point really. Road Rash is also a good pickup and play. Need for speed is almost there if not for it painfully slow racing itself.
  17. http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=Download And burn 1X and 650 MB Cd's I use TDK's but all is fair in making "Backups".
  18. Aw you caught that right. They were $4 a piece so really not a super deal but not bad either. So $12 plus tax for them all.
  19. So the holiday season is about us. What can I get now? Anyone got an Atari Hat they could ship me in an Ataribox?
  20. Weird what you find at Menards at times. ( for those of you who do not know what Menards is its like Home Depot or Lowes.)
  21. You know I enjoyed your story Bill. It comes aligned very similar to many collectors out there and hope it might help others in the future with decisions to be made in life. It's always inspiring to hear the choice of family first, as I know of some folks who obsess too much with "collecting" that they forget the real importance of family. I know in the future as my kids get older whatever they do not take with them will come into contention for me anyhow as I probably won't bother keeping everything. I am hoping pass downs can be done with kids and grandkids in my case. The one thing though is I would not want any of them to fall into the "collecting is my life" category and would rather sell anything they wanted than let them take that plunge.
  22. I find myself wary of going to Walmart anymore. Them employees and shoppers all dress the same fomr the pajama section so I never know who to ask for help.

Avoiding Walmart entirely is the best policy, and one I've personally upheld for years.
