  1. I am going to give up all my "Retro" gaming stuff and then start a new channel on YouTube collecting FIDGET SPINNERS. Yeah watch me ruin the value of those things as I hunt for the ever elusive "RARE" spinners like.... green ones.... and I mean the kind of green that just makes everyone else jelly....mint jelly. It will be bigger than Chewbacca Mom...well maybe not actual size....damn. I almost felt like I had something there.
  2. Its a good start to the series and often leads people into the Nintendo Franchise of Fire Emblem. Honestly I prefer Shining Force to the Fire Emblem series as a whole. Just not a fan of permadeath for characters. Now let just hope Sega makes a new Shining Force game.
  3. I am working away at another decent deal for a Nintendo Z Bag. I thought it would be a good fit for my Sega Genesis or Atari Jr. Looks like it could be mine for $10 or under so yay.
  4. Stupid Computer I need a newer one but the old one is so retro and cool.

Yow, that's old. Normally, I'd say "stick an SSD in there," but yeah, it's new laptop time.

You should post a picture. We can help you come around to the conclusion that it's not "retro and cool," but rather "old and busted."

You might be able to get away with a netbook or tablet. I know I almost could. Lol

  5. So decisions made. I am working on an ultimate process thoughts are welcome. 1. Use a fun mask. 2. Film in a vehicle like a Gremlin or Lotus Esprit or some other weird rare car. 3. Everyone likes food so include some shameless plug for a food industry tycoon item and then monopolize on the clickbait it generates.( please note to fuzz out the actual name of said item so as not to get a copyright strike) 4. Make sure the food includes a hidden gem to cause you physical harn( maybe a random Atari game case or something with sufficient edges) since people also like tragedy with their information. 5. Review said swallowed or injuring game with pizazz. 6. Make sure all of the above is under 5 minutes but may or may not include additional time for cats. 7. Monetize like crazy. 8. Lose all your friends for being a sellout. 9. Post on Atari Age about how Retro Gaming is ruining youtube. 10. Continue with life and remember that one time you did that crazy video and then find it again on other peoples channels being monetized and then get depressed. 11. post again on Atari age on how Youtube is Ruining Retro Gaming. Rinse, repeat. I feel like something is missing here.
  6. I will give you guys a sub and go through your stuff. I am leaning to looking for newer folks reviewing as some of the others are just getting too opinionated in a bad way for me to support for my tastes.
  7. Now are they gamers or collectors? I get more annoyed with folks showing off games more than knowing the experiences they have when playing them. might as well go around talking about everything in life like that. So my wife looks great on the shelf and in selfies. No idea what its like to play with her though....but look at the shelf space it looks great with her.
  8. Is the ratio still pretty much 50% cat videos 40% people doing stupids things and the remaining %10 a plethora of learn it and see it videos? DJ Clae for making videos ask yourself this. Is it for money and fame? OR Is it because you like to do it and it gives you personal satisfaction? Be honest and keep doing because as most smokers would tell you quitting is stupid so why do it if you really don't want to. Quitters never win either. Game on.
  9. I want you all to subscribe to my mediocre channel so I can boost my income so I can buy more Atari carts and valuable retro material. I almost have a dollar earned and can't wait to spend it on a valuable wanted title so then I can show it off in yet another mediocre video. So get out there and give me money. Oh wait and no YouTube only ruins the souls of greedy show offs for retro gaming and folks who opinion for click bait. So with that said.
  10. i was going to type something massive and prolonged but then I decided this does not matter. Otters, cats, and chewbacca mask mom ruin retro gaming. Now that makes sense.
  11. Mystery Atari carts are a mystery no more. Always like to find stuff like that. Now what are all these burned Cd's I wonder. I bet Jaguar games.

3DO didn't have any copy protection and PS1 was a very popular hack system as well. Love my 3DO for that. :)

  12. Not abandoned just had to figure out how to do the finale. Next post reveals all.
  13. So why is the Wii with the Homebrew app installed not a good option? If you are going after a system go after a bundle and personally I would try to go local as you can if you can. If not try forums like here or Nintendoage. Guaranteed someone will have something for sale on that mark. When you bundle its not for the price of each game but the set as a whole so things can be more reasonable. Try apps like Offer Up or Let Go as well as dare I say it Facebook market. Now I am going to go and play on my Wii with homebrew its "Little Sampson" time.
  14. Well I did my first video of a package I sent out. Auction was won. Sent the buyer and invoice 2 days later got no response. Opened an Unpaid item issue got paid still nothing form the buyer on communication. So I packed the box and took a video so there would be no chance he would say Never got it or did not get the right item. Am I being too precautious? I just thought it odd they never said anything back to my messages.
  15. My local retro store was have a buy more get more sale. So I plunked down some coin and got lots of stuff. All said and done about $40 spent for everything below. The only thing missing from the picture is Jungle Strike for the Genesis as well as a friend wanted to borrow it.
  16. Funny I think I am about to face the same deal for an Item that sold Monday. No response form the buyer and I gave them the 4th as a day and sent a reminder Wednesday. No response and now its gone to issue as an unpaid item. My big thing is I hate waiting all that time to get it resolved. Looking through the winning bidders history he does not seem bad but no recent activity makes me wonder is this is just an " Oops I bid by accident". I guess time will tell though he has until the 10th to pay so we will see. I just would have liked a response but getting nothing back makes me more furious. Common courtesy folks really.
  17. I snagged 4 Saturn cases for $1 each. No games in them but the cases are in decent shape no broken hinges or cracks even I was surprised. Came form my local Game store even. Independance Day Virtua Cop 2 FIFA Soccer NCAA 97
  18. Its not all plastic though but I do wonder how many controllers are in that box and then how big is that box itself. Its not like they are small and all as seen below ( yeah that one is mine) I got this one local no box but it works amazing. So if there is say like 10 in that box that would be one hell of a big box. I would gather though it might have 2 in there.
  19. I can agree with iceman here as well. Often I have even gotten the "Well I don't have them here but lets exchange numbers and see what we can do." I have nabbed Saturn systems and Sega Genesis ones on the cheap mostly because the NES buzz is the one gaining most attention. I also got an Intellivision in the box that looked like it had been used maybe once. Always prompt and chat and then followup if need be.
  20. What if Ataribox is like Alexa and Ring and what not. Using voice commands wouldn't you like to say "Hey Atari find me a cool game to play." "Bonk bonk bonk bonk" Im' in!
  21. Yeah there is no easy way to do that amount of games and a system in a box without a treendous shipping cost so like the other estimate $40-$50 Now on a side note I would be interested in some of the games though. Although I would need to move my 3 remaining Saturn's to make room but I would be willing to sacrifice that.
  22. Ugh ok sorry Nintendo Fan boys but will this next mini be better supplied or yet another grab while you can to make others pay.

If they were smart, they'd start small...Get their headlines, get the scalpers going, Then flood the market with'em so Everyone can get one.

^They'd screw over the scalpers And line their pockets.

Can we instead focus our energies into building better devices with our Raspberry Pi's? The Mini boxes have been nothing but a cash grab for suckers from day 0.

  23. They make newer ones one which also allows you to use the FM audio from the games. I have been considering this option for some time.
