If you use bjars.com to make this modification, you can now use an atari flashback 2 controller and add the two additional buttons right on top next to the normal fire button. The two additional buttons work with all 7800 games and the normal fire button works with 2600 games. Use Steve's instruction diagram. works perfect! I have attached a photo of the modified joystick.

Hi, Yes, yours is correct for a legitimate PCB ( as you show posted). The pics I had shown are of a "bootleg" PCB thr R3 is in a different location and I just used the nearest ground pad in place of your J19. Thanks for your posts, they helped me find the correct locations for my "Kroger fake FB2"

I have found that with Comp video/audio mods ( 2600) , the results differ from TV to TV. The same TV's that have issues with the Comp Vid mods also have issues with running a flashback 2, for example. I have only modded mine with the simpler two resistor/ one transistor method. I have no experience with the stereo mods... Good luck
