  I've never even seen one in this neighborhood before...They're usually out in the country or in vacant lots, etc. Based on size I'm thinking it's a prairie dog, as ground squirrels are smaller. Anyway he looked out my sliding door window then looked up at me and I opened the door for him, but he took off behind my couch and went back out my open garage...
