  1. Modern hipsters always complain about microtransactions in video games. They didn't want to have to pay 25 cents every time just to play a game. I told'em to shut up and play my arcade machines!

      Maybe, but they don't seem to complain as much as older folks complain about hipsters. 25c for a good, classic arcade game is totally different because if you're really good you can make that quarter last a long time. That's part of the motivation and fun. Not the same as microtransations. Further, those games were designed to be *fun* with one quarter to get you back, as opposed to "it won't suck if you pay for it."

      I don't care much for microtransactions myself, and I'm assuredly no hipster. However, what I did not do, is ridicule physical media, defacto demand the death of it by an extremely eager craving for digital formats, which has facilitated the very microtransaction world any such hipster millennial type may find offensive
