      It became a game when listening to the radio with my wife when she said she couldn't tell the difference between Foreigner and Boston.  Then I would trick her with .38 Special.

      Ah yes, the 'how I pissed off my friends in middle school list'. Basically, I was a 'classic rock' kid in the 90s, so anytime my friend's parents drove us anywhere, I got to pick the music becuase they knew I listened to 'their' music. 

       

      I remember leaving the library once & my friend spent 5 minutes trying to get her mom to play a tape she'd checked out (I forget the band). I casually mentioned I'd gotten a Foreigner tape & it was immediately played. 😉

      Well I sometimes got RATT and Motley Crue mixed up since their frontmen sounded alike.  Maybe the same thing with Sweet and Cheap Trick.
