  1. According to the foreign Robocalls:  I'm wanted by the FBI, the CIA, my local Sheriff and Police Departments, The IRS, The Department of Homeland Security, My Windows 10 computer has been hacked, my Wells Fargo account has been hacked, my auto warranty has expired, and I've won the Publisher's Clearinghouse Sweepstakes.   Now, most of this is just untrue.

Funny, I've been getting a lot of those calls, too.  If they're not claiming to be from the IRS, they're claiming to be calling from a collections agency about my overdue car loan.  (I don't have any car loans; I paid off my last one about 16 years ago.)

Yep!  I don't have a car loan, a car warranty, a Wells Fargo account, nor a Windows 10 machine 🙂

I saw an amusing Youtube video where he played along with one of those scams for a while.  He lives in Canada, and their tax division a bunch of money and was about to be arrested by the RCMP, at least according to the message.

A friend got one of those calls and was going to give his CC number as "[email protected]#@$-STUPID-DO-YOU-THINK-I-AM".  They threatened to send the police.  He said "Send them then.  I've got something for them too."  Strangely enough, they never showed up.
