  1. Remember this? Ya hop in your muscle car to go to one of the dozens of video rental places.  Don't forget your membership card. Pick 2 or 3 movies out, and if you're feeling frisky, rent one of their VCRs too.  Now you can dub these uncensored movies onto your own blank VHS tape (SP, LP, or SLP).  Now you're buckin' the system!  You can watch YOR: Hunter from the Future anytime you want!  Even if there's nothing on TV but boring soap operas.

I've been flashing back to the 90s lately.  My wife got me Star Trek: TNG Season 1 on DVD for my birthday (well, I got it myself for about $5 on ebay), but she's going to wrap it up).  My friends and I used to watch that a lot in college.  Then I was cleaning out some stuff and found a stack of comics from the very brief couple of months in my life I was actually into comics.  They've never been my thing, but I do have a dozen or so issues of Conan The Adventurer & Savage Sword, and I'm enjoying going through them again.  It's been so long, I don't remember anything about them.

I do remember jumping into my muscle car (pic of my ‘69 Camaro on my profile) and picking up VHS videos from local mom & pop rentals.

...if you "forgot" your rental card, no worries! Just give them your phone number (land line of course) and flash your DL.   ;)
