    I took the plunge!  Bought a used black Wii U (32Gb) @ the pawn shop today!  It came with one gamepad, but no charging cradle/AC for the pad,  so I ordered one off eBay.  Now I need to charge the pad, then get through to a human on Nintendo's Customer Service to reset the Password (which can be done if the pawn shop guy's right).  System's a little scuffed, the gamepad looks Great though, aside from 1 scuff on a trigger, everything else buffed out with some elbow grease.   Any game recommendations?

      Oh yeah, the beauty of the Wii is you can get a ton of wii ware. And you can load it all on. My upright arcade (II) has so much Wiiware.

       

      I'm not entirely sure how it works, of course there's some kind of emulator and I haven't really got round to playing about with it, but I have gone through the hard drive folder and found I have a huge archive of it all. Also during the Hyperspin menu.

       

      I'll have to carve out some time to play some of it. There is a lot of fun games like that Boxing game.

      I'm assuming you can still load it onto the SD with some software. You can't buy it anymore, but if you have it you can shoehorn it on and play loads of games without cds.

      Well, All told,  I now have my regular Wii,  Plus a modded Wii that no longer plays discs, but has emulators etc....And now this Wii U.  :)
