  1. Gotta say I Love the game ULTIMATE QIX on SEGA Genesis, AKA Volfied in Arcades/PC Engine, AKA Qix Neo on PS1.  Comparing it to regular Qix;  It's like comparing Arkanoid to Breakout.  IMHO, the game is just more playable, more strategic, more compelling, and more fun.

I played Volfied for hours on end on the ST. I always liked that game, but for some reason was never a fan of Qix.

Also, when playing for Score (Like in the old days,  when things were fun)...And this is Hard to explain, but easy to demonstrate, You need to set up your Maze/Death Trap WITHOUT connecting everything, Otherwise you get just over 80% and move on to the next level.  No, make concentric squares (or whatever ya like) without connecting the final piece each time,  then trap the boss in a tiny, tiny area and get 99.9%! and 500,000 Points!   (That's the most fun way to play in my opinion)

And (not to be that guy) but judging on what few videos I've seen, people really don't know how to play this game.

I really do think of Ultimate Qix as kind of a Hunter becomes the Hunted kind of a game.  You kill off the Boss's minions, also score some Power Ups, Then kill off the Boss himself!
