I inadvertently did my own Schrödinger's cat (type) experiment today. I dropped a light bulb at the dollar store and then bought it. It's in the box, but until I plug it in, I don't know if it works or not. Science can be cruel, but I saved a cat!

  Also, it was a 3 way bulb; So I don't know if I broke all of the filaments, none of the filaments, or just some of the filaments.

  Of course the answer is D. A light bulb is an inanimate object, therefore cannot be alive or dead.
