AtariAge is a nice way to pass the time. I'm waiting for Amazon to deliver some parts so I can fix my dryer, Again. I think I'm gonna make some burritos.

  Aww, the dilemna of the DIYer. We watch YouTube vids and search Google to learn how to repair something, but chances are we'll never encounter another situation like that again so our hard-won experience is kinda wasted. Or the next model we get is completely different. I do sometimes repair household stuff and cars for a friend, so sometimes I get to use what I learned or some of the knowledge is transferable. Makes me envious of an appliance repair man. He's been there, done that, and will use the knowledge over and over everyday.
