I get it, but I don't think the sudden shift in nomenclature from UFOs to UAPs will have the desired impact. UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon) is the Military's way of telling The Government that we don't need to assume extraterrestrial origin...Which is something often associated with UFOs...
They're all UFOs to me. (At this point in time) it still sounds weird when someone goes out of their way say UAPs instead.

I'm surprised they haven't changed it to UATs (Unidentified Arial Threats) since they want us to be afraid of "Evil Aliens" from other planets or dimensions or evil flying machines made by other countries. Anything in the sky that does not obey the "laws of physics" is a possible threat and we must be afraid of it. Be afraid! Be very afraid! Oh yeah, and remember that none of those things are made by the USA. There are no secret USA space programs. That Fluxliner with a United States flag on it that you might have seen zipping around in the sky was all in your mind.
