I'll just say it. Nothing (Video Game related) should ever be an Amazon Exclusive! I finally made up my mind figuring I DO want the Turbografx Mini! Even at $99.99...Except after clicking the ad for $99.99 it becomes $199.99 and up! There's 8 available starting at ~ $200 PLUS shipping and TAX of course! Thought about the PC Engine Mini (Maybe, but nawww) And the Coregrafx Mini is made for Europe so could have frame rate issues here (May or may not be noticeable), but all start at at least $47 higher than they should be....*sigh* Guess I missed out on this one.

^I went for the Turbografx Mini. I do kind of like the look of the Core Grafx also, and the PC Engine Mini...But I suppose I have a little more nostalgia for the American one, if only since friends had one back in the day (I got mine much later, then I also have a PC Engine Duo-R). Maybe it's no different, but since the Core Grafx is technically based on a PAL set up, I wonder if it's 25FPS instead of 30FPS, once converted to HDMI? I didn't want to have any issues, and the PC Engine Mini has a non Turbo controller, so I got the one I wanted, with the games list I preferred and the controller I'm used to as well.
Just a joke on that Pounds thing, mate, but you knew that.

Yeah we got the CoreGrafx, but I'd prefer a PC-Engine. We didn't get any of them BITD. They didn't release it here. I'm happy I've got one at all.
Of course I have a wonderful upright machine that can emulate 100% any of those games but it's lovely having an almost full size machine.I wish they would actually integrate a slot/drive for real games in these mini machines. That would be the cake topper.

[email protected]@K! Any interest in a 99 Cent Beef Chalupa coupon from Taco Bell that expires on 4/30/02? RARE. I don't see any on eBay...VINTAGE!! Must be Retro! It's sunfaded and has been cut out. Offer only good at Lacade Foods Inc. Stores. It says no cash value, but I disagree. Let's start the bidding at .01! If it doesn't get up to at least 3 cents though, I'll prolly just keep it in the collection.

Craziest day! My 85 year old aunt found my original Atari VCS BOX! (Which I believe I bought in 1979 or 1980). Not the console (Which my cousin pawned or lost in a storage shed before he died we're pretty sure), but the box itself, which was under an inch of dust in her downstairs closet. I can confirm I bought it at Grand Central for $129.99 on sale from $159.99 cuz the price tags are still there! The box shows a Heavy Sixer but I'm pretty sure mine was a Light Sixer. I thought all of it was lost,...Never thought I'd see this again! Inside is some NES game boxes; All of it is dusty as hell!

Last remnant of the story: When I was 10 or 11, I played Atari at a friend's house and made it my mission in life to get one. I saved allowances, mowed lawns, did odd jobs for the neighbors until I had saved $80. At which point I saw in the newspaper ad, Grand Central (about 3-4 blocks from my house) had them on sale for $129.99. I'd forgotten the retail price but Grand Central was kind of high generally, (like Star wars action figures were $2.49, not $2.18 like at LaBelle's)...So, I asked my mom if I could borrow the rest from her and get one and she said yes! I was probably 12.
PS My aunt still thinks there's a ghost of a chance the console is in there somewhere, but I know my cousin told me he had one (from her) and I assume it was my old one...
